A plus-size model has hit back at Victoria's Secret for only featuring straight-size models by proving that curvy women look just as good modeling the brand's lingerie.

Tabria Majors, 27, from Nashville, Tennessee, posed for a Victoria's Secret-inspired photo shoot before taking to social media to show off what she looks like in the pieces compared to the brand's models.

The curvaceous model called out the brand for failing to feature plus-size women, writing: 'Maybe I’ll be a Victoria’s Secret Angel this year for Halloween, since it ain’t happening in real life.'

'Just paying homage to a few of my favorite pics/outfits from VS here and showing that curvy girls can rock (and sell) lingerie just as well as straight size models,' she added.

The first of three images sees Tabria kneeling on the ground in a maroon lace thong and matching bra. She is leaning over with her hands on a fur-covered ottoman and giving the camera a come-hither stare.

In the following snapshot, Tabria is wearing matching bra and underwear set featuring a floral design and scalloped edges.

She is posed with her hands on her head, just like the official Victoria's Secret model who was chosen to wear the look.

In the final photo, Tabria is rocking a sexy see-through leotard that is held together by skimpy elastic bands, and she looks just as good as any Victoria's Secret Angel.

The images have been liked more than 28,000 times on Instagram, and many people took to the commments section to tell Tabria that she looks amazing.

'Awesome! And I could actually see what I'd look like in it without starving myself first,' one woman wrote, and another added: 'I'd buy more @victoriassecret lingerie if I see someone curvy like you modeled them!'

Tabria told HuffPost Canada that she has been thinking about doing this for awhile because she wants to open up the discussion about inclusivity in the mainstream media.

'I just want to know why they, and so many other companies, don't cater to the average-sized woman,' she said.

Tabria has made it clear that she loves the way she looks, and over the summer she shared a video of herself reading some of the negative body-shaming comments she has received online.

'I'm Tabria Majors, I weigh 218 lbs, and I don't care if you hate my body because I love it,' the 5'10" beauty captioned the footage.

And while she's not a Victoria's Secret model just yet, Tabria recently walked the runway alongside fellow curvy model Ashley Graham at Addition Elle's New York Fashion Week show.

Tabria is also one of six finalists who will be featured in a layout in the 2018 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue following the publication's open casting call earlier this year.

As one of the finalists, Tabria is in the running to appear in the 2019 Swimsuit Issue as an official member of the SI rookie class.
