Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie & Leo DiCaprio premiere ‘OUATIH’ in Cannes

Once upon a time in Hollywood premiere at Cannes Film festival

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last night. All of the big-name stars were there: Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie, who plays Sharon Tate. Quentin Tarantino was there with his new young wife. They all posed together on what was the 25th anniversary of the Cannes premiere of Pulp Fiction. Good times.

I’m pretty sure this film is going to be a trainwreck, but for now I’ll enjoy the photos. Brad and Leo certainly cleaned up for the big premiere – both of them need a big win, honestly. Maybe Brad needs it more than Leo – Leo is evergreen for some reason, and he’ll always be able to get movies made. Brad is already starting to ease more into producing, and his last films/projects haven’t left much of a mark – Allied (2016) and War Machine (2017). This is actually his first big headlining feature film role in three years. What’s the vibe between Leo and Brad, you think? There didn’t seem to be much drama between them reportedly, but I get the feeling that they’re not BFFs or anything.

As for Margot… I can’t believe Chanel gave her THIS to wear on her big red carpet. I guess it was supposed to look like a modern take on the 1960s babydoll nightie, but the pants just ruin the look. I’m also sure that lazy tabloids will try to make something happen between Margot and Brad, or even Margot and Leo. One, she’s happily married. Two, Leo’s girlfriend is in Cannes. Three, I sincerely hope Brad and Margot are both smart enough to avoid each other romantically.

My first reaction to her outfit was ‘eurgh’ but after a second or two…I sort of appreciate it next to those suits and I like that’s she’s a bit covered up…actually I wish she was just in a tux too y’know?

    • dlc says:

      YES!

    • CA Family Code says:

Same here…at first said “gaaad” then after watching her move and seeing the 360 view, she is adorable in it.

      • Seraphina says:

Agree. I think, on second glance, she looks great. I love her. She’s just great. And in I Tonya, she really sucked me in.

      • BayTampaBay says:

I think her hair looks horrible.

    • Jegede says:

      Disagree.

Margot Robbie is playing an iconic role about a seminal chapter in US history,
one that occured in the fashion changing 60s,
premiering on the most famous red carpet in the world……………..

      but she’s dressed like a second choice L’Oreal rep.😬

The shoes are enough to discount her.👎

(And I heard her character is not in the movie much, but the Manson girls steal the performances🤔)

    • madthinking says:

I just think Margo’s outfit is a near miss. It’s like it could of been great, but it just missed it. Leo and Brad look great here. I know a lot on here aren’t fans, but they clean up well.

    • Kendra says:

I always kind of have the same issue with women in revealing outfits and men in tuxedos. It’s like women are here for their bodies and men for their personalities or something you know? There should be more variety in men’s fashion anyway.

      • SM says:

That outfit is horrible and looks like she forgot shampoo at home. Way to ruin such a beautiful woman as Margot.

  2. Abby says:

Just for pictures sake, not real-life messy human beings, both these guys have aged incredibly well. So hot.

    • Becks1 says:

Yeah, I agree. I think that’s part of why Leo keeps getting parts – he’s aging really well, and I think he looks better now than he looked 20 years ago. I think Brad Pitt’s peak is over, but he still looks pretty good. And in Hollywood as we all know, looks go a long way.

      • Eliza says:

Really? I think Leo aged terribly. He has such a bloated look to his face and honestly is wearing too much bronzer over his foundation at the premiere.

      • Jerusha says:

Brad looks good, imo, and Leo has looked like a blob for years now.

      • babco says:

Some men gain a better, stronger (imho) face when they get older but certainly not these 2.

Leo has not aged well, he was a pretty young boy but he s growing into a just on the right side of average, bloated middle aged guy.

By ageing, I don t mean wrinkles or bags, but of how his features have evolved into adulthood, they lost the edge he had when younger and have not been replaced by anything else that I can see.

Brad is looking better than a couple of years back but he s not the hunk anymore.

      • Kendra says:

I guess I am the only one but apart from him having a round face that makes him look younger I don’t think he is handsome.
He never really was but at least he had that kind of boyhish charm and nice eyes.

      • SKF says:

Really? I think Leo looks like a puffy chihuahua and Brad looks puffy and plastic instead of the Robert Redford look he should ave aged into.

      • Carol says:

@jerusha – your comment about Leo nearly made me choke on my water. Lol!! That’s exactly how I feel about Leo…a blob. Hands down the best description of DiCaprio.

      • Nic919 says:

Leo and Brad look roughly the same age but Brad is at least 10 years older. Brad has aged much better than Leo, who has been fighting bloatface for several years now.

    • ByTheSea says:

They have. Now that Brad stopped aggressively botoxing, he looks so much better.

      • Sierra says:

He looks better because he is sober and not an alcoholic anymore.

      • anp says:

Reminder they have created face lift kits that can be purchase. It is a short term remedy.

      • Lady D says:

I’m not a fan of his looks, never have been, but I gotta admit he looks pretty good here. Better than he has for a decade at least.

    • Erinn says:

I’m way more into Leo now than when he was the teen heart throb lol. All my friends were SO into him and I was kind of like ‘meh’. He’s less pretty now, more rough around the edges, and I like it.

Same with Pitt. Messy AF, but he’s been looking good. This is no endorsement of him, just a shallow observation.

    • minx says:

They both look great, I have to admit.

    • Ariel says:

I looked at the photocall pictures of them and wondered if Leo’s had some low key work done on his face

    • Bella Bella says:

Really? I think Leo looks 100. Well, so much older than his actual age.

    • KidV says:

Yep, Brad still does it for me after all these years (looks-wise).

    • Diplomanatee says:

What makes me laugh is BP’s obvious dye job. Leo was always the more blond (naturally) of the two and you see how his hair has aged to a darker blonde/light brown. But Brad and those highlights… LOOOL

    • Trashaddict says:

NOT? Leo is botoxed, stop with the one-button jackets already, they make you look fat.
And they both need eyelifts, at least if we hold them to the same standards women get held to.
Yeah, I know, bitchy, but this is after all, Celebitchy.

      • SM says:

I don’t know. Neither of them ever made me swoon. I mean they both looked attractive during different periods. But I always feel like I try to think them sexy because it sort of is what you are supposed to feel.

  3. Mia4s says:

Review range from great to very reserved. It may end up a bit divisive but will likely do well. They say Leo’s role is flashier but Pitt is the better performance. Oh and as I pretty much guessed Margot Robbie is not really in it very much.

More revisionist history too. Tarantino is not the type of artist who would (or I think could) confront and deal with what really happened.

    • Jegede says:

“Oh and as I pretty much guessed Margot Robbie is not really in it very much”. –

      Yeah.

That’s what I’m hearing too sadly.

    • t says:

This line from The Times (UK) review caught my eye in that regard:

“There are no N-words and almost no violence against women, although the director falls off that wagon spectacularly at the end.”

Someone said there’s a twist. Is it the violence is against the Manson Girls rather than Tate, I wonder?

      • Mia4s says:

Yeah I think it feels like that’s the ending it’s heading for.

        “There are no N-words”

Ummm, yeah because there are no Black people in the movie! It’s not Tarantino turning over a new leaf or anything.

  4. Nev says:

    Brad handsome as ever.

  5. Pix says:

Brad and Leo don’t look great. If this is cleaned up I have to say they’re not aging well. These used to be two of the beautiful people. Not so much anymore.

    • The Dot says:

Brad is pushing 60, so I’d say he looks pretty damn good.

I think Leo looks good off and on, but I think he’s done a lot of yoyoing weight wise and that can mess with a person’s looks.

      • tempest prognosticator says:

I agree with Dot. Brad looks good. He looks his age. The beauty of youth is gone for him, just as it is for anyone who is no longer young. A lot of times, when someone says a person ‘doesn’t look good anymore,’ they’re really saying ‘doesn’t look young anymore.’

      • Myrtle says:

Brad is solidly in his mid-fifties: 55. Not quite pushing 60 imo, but on his way. Those lines on his face are pretty deep, and he’s not hiding them either with the swept-back hair. Good for him. Brad looks super lean compared to puffy Leo. I’d say from their body language that each one can barely tolerate the other. Definitely not BFFs!

      • KidV says:

@ Myrtle – there are photos of them hugging each other when they first met on the red carpet a few days ago. I think they’re friends, but not BFFs.

And yeah, being 55 is hardly “pushing” 60. Geez.

      • Nic919 says:

Leo is 44 and doesn’t look a decade younger than Brad. Brad has put more effort into preserving himself and considering what female actors have to do, I’m not going to shade him for that. No woman could let herself go like Leo has though. And still get lead parts.

  6. dlc says:

I really like morgots pants. I dislike her two tone hair tho. Don’t really care about Leo and brad.

  7. CA Family Code says:

The reviews are great. and Rotten Tomatoes is holding at 93% so far. Some are saying that it could win the PalmD’or or audience pick at Cannes. and LA Times critic says “it’s Brad Pitt’s movie even though he is not the lead.” There are dozens of great actors in it so I shouldn’t be suprised about all of the glowing reviews, but I am.

  8. Fisher says:

Brad looks lost. That confidence he had is gone

    • babco says:

      I see exactly the same.
Since the last years of his marriage to AJ, he never projects confidence in a picture, he looks like his soul is shivering inside.

    • Meg says:

I agree, bad press from the divorce and plane incident seems to have shaken him. Badmouthing Angie doesn’t seem to have soothed him

  9. Anna says:

I think they look great? Brad is 55…

  10. Avalanche says:

It received a six minute standing ovation and the critics love it. This is going to be QT’s biggest hit since Pulp Fiction. I’ll be seeing it the day it opens.

    • Kara says:

Cool, congrats on supporting a white director who loves the n-word and supported Weinstein and loves Roman Polanski, a predator who only dates women under 25, and a man who hit his own son. Great job spending your money!

      • Avalanche says:

Well clearly that sort of behaviour isn’t the preference but I bet some of the people who worked on the film are really nice.

      • line says:

It’s no wonder, last sunday they have given the palm of honor to a actor ,homophobe, racist and misogynist, with as excuses “it was necessary to separate the artist from the man”.

The film has good reviews, But Tarantino us to show through all his films that he hates women,Dicaprio aged to 44 that still goes out with girls under 25 years old, and Brad Pitt who hits his son and then tries to save his reputation by dragging his wife in the media. Just no! I hoped that the film will be a failure in the box office. Note: the movie duration is 2h30

    • Eliza says:

Cannes is weird. It gives a lot of praise to movies that go nowhere.

It is a QT film so no matter how good or bad it will make money.

    • Myrtle says:

Here’s the scoop on controversial French actor who got the honorary Palme d’Or: https://www.euronews.com/2019/05/19/cannes-film-festival-under-fire-for-honorary-palme-d-or-to-alain-delon

      • Jerusha says:

Well, jeez Louise. I used to watch Delon in all the great 60s French and Italian films he made. He was so pretty. I never knew a thing about his private life or views. Very disappointed.

    • Kendra says:

It’s pretty easy to get standing ovations in Cannes. I am a bit uncomfortable with source material and not can of the actors but I am glad this film seem to be well received.

    • AmunetMaat says:

I’ll be watching it as well. If the reviews hold up I don’t see a reason not to view it. However, I was one of the few who loved Hateful 8.

  11. anp says:

Critics will continue to give BP good ratings for his films to keep his career and projects going. He is a one dimensional actor, Leo did everyone a favor to star in this film.

    • Avalanche says:

Really? I thought the last three films he acted in received fairly lukewarm responses.

      • The Dot says:

They did, but facts don’t matter to someone pushing an agenda. The film got an extended standing ovation, from what I’m reading. There’s really no way the press/Brad/his people could scheme to get that kind of response if it were unearned.

    • Lady D says:

Why do critics care if he has a career or not? Do you honestly think they are concerned about the actors they write about?

  12. Jegede says:

    Margot Robbie’s stylist hates her.😕

    • t says:

True. It shouldn’t be so difficult to style her.

Also for a horrifying second I thought she was wearing super high boots with a babydoll and not a pants/dress combo.

    • Eliza says:

She’s now the face of Chanel. They sent her this. I mean it’s a photocall look. Every other woman on this runway was in a ballgown. She’s the star of the film and was so forgettable. It’s not like they couldn’t send something more glam.

      • Amide says:

She doesn’t have to even be in a ball gown, to make it interesting. This was a mess, she couldn’t pull off.
The get up bizzarely reminds me of something Paris Hilton would wear circa 2000.😆

  13. Sierra says:

Don’t care if it has two of my fav actors in it, I will never support/watch a Tarrantino movie ever again.

He enabled Weinstein and glorifies violence towards women.

Very disappointed that Leo & Brad acted in his movie even after all of the revelations.

    • Lucy2 says:

Same here. I have no desire to support him, I don’t care what the reviews are.

    • OriginalLala says:

I don’t know how to add a clapping emoji, but can you pretend I just did?

      *clapping emoji*

I also am no longer supporting Tarantino. I’m done supporting the glorification of violence against women.

    • Chaine says:

Same here. My husband drag me to see that awful cowboy movie of his a few years back. It was so incredibly pointlessly violent. I left the theater feeling so exhausted and drained.

    • Sue Denim says:

The look on Uma Thurman’s face as she realized her “good friend” QT had in fact almost had her killed in an unsafe car, all for the sake of his “art” and because he didn’t trust her acting abilities to do the job. Just a big no to this whole thing…

      • lucy2 says:

He also didn’t trust the professional actors he hired and “did his own choking” of actresses in his films. Twice.

    • t says:

Disappointed in Margot, too. She’s a big enough star to have passed on this role. She has no less than about 30 minutes of screen time in this according to first reviews, so the only reason she signed is because it was Tarantino.

    • SpilldatT says:

NGL I really used to love Tarantino’s movies. But his attitude, his disgusting behavior towards Uma Thurman, his thoughts about Harvey, and his continued hero worship of Polanski has completely erased the good memories of seeing his work on screen.

The fact that he’s made two guys the main focus of a movie based on a horrific murder of a woman is even grosser.

Margot Robbie had to defend him about not giving Tate much dialogue at a press event earlier today. Like Margot, please don’t shield him, he’s a adult man who can answer questions for himself.

I hope this movie flops BIG time.

As for Bran & Leo, I have never thought of them as huge sex symbols, but I guess to many women they are. But they have never done anything for me at all. Brad isn’t a great actor, Leo is slightly better, but limited, they became big by being in the right movies at the right time I think, not because they are terrific at their jobs.

  14. Erinn says:

I thought this was going to be a shit show of a movie. But my husband and I randomly turned on a trailer for it – and we both were pleasantly surprised.

I doubt I’ll go to the theater to see it or anything- but I definitely will watch it at some point.

  15. Mia4s says:

At the press conference this morning Tarantino praised Roman Polanski and was upset when a female journalist pointed out that Margot Robbie has very few lines in the movie. 😒

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

    • anp says:

Perhaps they stay the same because many in society will go to support QT and his films just to want to be entertained and they do not care how it affects other groups. How sad.

    • Sierra says:

Really so he is still supporting rapists?

Shame on the actors and people who are going to see this movie and support him and his views.

    • Léna says:

What did he say ? I can’t find the information online

    • Lola says:

I’m not here to defend Tarantino (I think he is VERY problematic), but he did not praise Roman Polanski at the press conference. He said he was the hottest director in the 60s, and incredibly successful, which is true.

The way he talked to the female journalist was disgusting. She asked a perfectly valid question.

      • Gabriella says:

Lola, how did he talk to the female journalist? I can’t find anything about it yet online.

      • LadyT says:

He said “I reject your hypothesis” in a perfectly normal tone after a journalist asked an odd question about why Margot, as a talented actress, didn’t have more lines. Margot then spoke about being happy with her character portrayal.
It’s been repeated often- The Sharon Tate story is not the focus of the movie, rather a concurrent event.

      • Lola says:

I think the tone was condescending, but I didn’t watch the movie, so I obviously don’t know how Sharon Tate was portrayed. He could have been more polite, no need to act so pissed off. Margot handled it really well.

      • Lola says:

Gabriella, the Guardian has a video of the interaction

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyErR1FS1_0

      • Digital Unicorn says:

His tone was snotty to be sure and yeah Margot handled it well. TBH the question was a bit odd as others have said Sharon’s story is not really part of the plot. The interviewer answered her own question when she said it was likely deliberate that the character didn’t say much.

It will be interesting to see Leo and Brad in this one, as TBH Leo is the better actor.

    • LadyT says:

Polanski WAS the hottest thing going in the timeframe of the movie. To portray that as Tarantino “praising” him is misleading IMO.

  16. anp says:

Question why would the public want to support a QT film.

  17. Liz says:

Brad Pitt looks like the average mid-western truck driver or construction foreman. He doesn’t bother me at all – but he’s never been that hot.
…That’s why its hard to tell for me if he’s aging well or not.
    The deciding factor:
That trademark Brad Pitt confidence was a little much for what was reality, he seems normal now and that’s definitely made him hotter.

  18. Louise says:

There is only about 2.5 years between Clooney and Pitt. Brad has aged incredibly well. Leo, too.

The film is getting very good reviews. I will be going to see it. Brad messed up. Lets hope he has turned is life around. He is not the first to make a massive life mistake. Angie was with him a long time so he must have SOME redeeming qualities??

    • Eliza says:

In fairness, once Clooneys back went he aged rapidly. As most would.

      • lucy2 says:

Yeah a bad injury like that really takes a toll on a person.

Brad’s only aging well now because he stopped drinking. Remember what he looked like on the one red carpet towards the end of their marriage? He was bloated and waxy and looked Botoxed like crazy. He’d be a mess if he hadn’t gotten himself sober.

  19. Truth hurts says:

Brad is lost o the carpet now. He was clingy with Leo which I found weird. Pitt needed this more than Leo. He still thinks his image was damaged by his recent child custody battle and divorce albeit people sided with him but GUILT IS A MOFO.
The critics and LA writers will favor Pitt because of Sony and CAA. Leo is the better actor but pretty boy Pitt is coddled like a baby in LA. It’s like Jen A all over again, poor thing being done wrong by big bad evil Jolie. Shrug.
I will repeat thisQUENTIN IS A RACIST PIG TO ME. Violence, treatment of women and the vulgar uses of the N word in every movie show who he is.
Did anyone else read the Esquire interview. I find Brad repulsive. To talk about having a boner is just… I really understand why Angie left his nasty azz.

    • Lili says:

I miss Brad and Angie on the red carpets in Cannes. Now THAT was magic!

    • Myrtle says:

@Truth hurts – BP isn’t my favorite either but, to be fair, he wasn’t talking about having a boner. His pants were just bunching up there due to tailoring, which I guess is a thing called “boner pants.”

      • truth hurts says:

        I think you are wrong

      • Kebbie says:

@TruthHurts Are you saying you think Brad actually had a boner during the interview? And then he called attention to it? Thank you for the laugh, I needed it today.

    • Lisa says:

Brad is not lost at all. He was having a great time. Laughing and enjoying his co-stars. I love how the media is not talking about him and Angelina. It is about this movie. I don’t think the public cares anymore about them not on an RC together. They are divorced. This is Brad life now. He didn’t talk about having a boner. He was talking about how his pants bunched and referenced an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. It is amazing how far some reach to try and smear this man. Get over it already. Don’t see his movies. Don’t follow him. forget him. but for some reason, you can’t.

Brad had his friends with him so nothing to do about the past.

      • Truth hurts says:

Either way it was uncalled for. That’s the point I don’t like him and won’t watch. What are you gonna do about it. Nothing so..

  20. grabbyhands says:

Margot Robie’s Sharon Tate cosplay is gross, and I hope this movie crashes and burns.

    • adastraperaspera says:

I totally agree. And that pic of the guy stars fully dressed in tuxes and Margot standing there in pajamas looks like a strip club moment.

    • SKF says:

In the reviews I have read, they praised her performance at length. They said she is the heart and soul of the movie, full of joy and life. They also said that , with this film, she and Tarantino have managed to bring the wonderful person full of joy and love and potential to the forefront of public thinking of her – when most people for decades now have mostly just thought about the horrible way she died.

  21. Millenial says:

Didn’t Margot and Leo date during Wolf of Wall Street?

    • Eyeroll says:

Don’t know. Wasn’t he with Blake Lively around then? But it’s interesting that Brad Pitt bid on TWOWS and lost to Leo. Now they’re in the same QT movie.

    • Original T.C. says:

No. Margot was dating a non famous man behind the camera (stunt man or something). She comes across as a pretty smart person so I bet she wasn’t into playing his GF for the tabs. Plus wasn’t she past his age limit?

    • SKF says:

No, he was dating Toni Garrn. Margot has commented on how funny it was to her that the tabs were saying it was her on a boat with Leo when it was a 6ft tall model.

Brad and Leo’s production companies have both bid for a few things. And hilariously, Brad was on two episodes of Growing Pains!

  22. Michelle says:

    Tarantino is a huge problem.
He thought a 13yr old asked to be drugged & raped
    his racist language
his career was funded & pushed by Weinstein
his violence against women on screen, hiring abusers
his fan boyish stance on Polanski.
This new film has his foot fetish all through it.
He should of been cancelled a long time ago!!! instead is fawned over & has lots of actors dying to work with him. His films will continue to be financed & win awards.
    Nothing has changed!!!

    • Avalanche says:

‘He should of been cancelled a long time ago!!! instead is fawned over & has lots of actors dying to work with him. His films will continue to be financed & win awards.’

If what you say is true then it gets back to the old saying ‘Always bet on self interest. At least you know it’s trying’

  23. Case says:

I’m a huge Tarantino movie fan and can’t wait for this. I don’t think it’ll be a train wreck at all  — his style is revisionist history, so it’s not like events are going to play out as they did in real life. If anything, it’ll be a revenge flick.

    • Yep says:

Film-nerd multiple-personality-disorder pastiche! (Not to be derogatory about MPDs.)

  24. Amanda says:

This is the best Brad has looked in a long time – sobriety clearly doing wonders. However, I can’t see him anymore without thinking about how badly he treated his kids and he’s essentially had a free pass from Hollywood. Not that that’s any great surprise mind you, he is a rich white male in a rich white male’s world.

  25. Tallia says:

Margot Robbie is so beautiful. Brad Pitt actually looks good here, Leo DiC looks bloated.

  26. Nadia says:

    Brad looks great

  27. Eleonor says:

Well Leo is much more talented than Brad, that’s why he still works.

  28. bears says:

I hate to say it but her outfit is the best thing happening in that photo of overhyped, badly aging twats. No to Leo, no to Quentin, no to Brad. Just…no. Get out. Go back to preying on 20 year olds and secretly defending Johnny Depp.

    • Yep says:

It’s unique. I think these couture brands all do stunt outfits for maximum WTF click-throughs when dressing celebrities for big events like these. Or just any event anyway.

  29. Originaltessa says:

Her outfit looks like something I purchased at Express in 2004. Like, uncannily similar. Wtf is she thinking? She could have rocked some serious fashion, and she went early 2000’s college night out.

    • AmunetMaat says:

Lol, once you said it I can’t unsee it. Yes this is very NYE 2004 Express look.

  30. Cay says:

I have never understood the “genius” of Quentin Taratino. I just don’t get it.

  31. jen says:

A trainwreck? If you read any of the reviews, no one is saying it’s even close to a trainwreck.

    • Yep says:

It’s received universally glowing reviews at least with every article I’ve come across.

Brad Pitt has cleaned up very well. Leo looks like he usually does but less bloated. I feel like they’re really using Margot’s physical appeal to push the film from some of the pap set-ups I’ve seen for their Cannes promotional session.

  32. tuille says:

Leo’s not as face-puffed as he was a year or 2 ago. We’ve seen his large spare tire in beach pics. Is he wearing Spanx? Or men’s version of a Merry Widow?

  33. FluffyPrincess says:

Honestly, Brad and Leo look the same age to me. So I guess, good on Brad since he’s 10 years older. Since Leo got the bloat face, he’s a big ole “meh.”

Plus, Leo has resting bitch face or that he’s constantly constipated.

Although, in a recent interview Brad and Leo said they both totally fanboy’d over meeting. . .Luke Perry (he’s in the movie too). They both thought he was the epitome of cool and had been fans since the 90s. Like, whaaaat? Still, if it’s true, I wonder what Luke Perry thought of two super A Listers being like , “Dude you’re the shit!!!!!”

    • SKF says:

Yeah I read that! That was hilarious! I looked it up on IMDB and it’s true, neither of them hit it even remotely big until a year or two after 90210 started – so Perry would have been much more famous than them for a time. Perry was being called the James Dean of our times in the early 90s. Crazy!

  34. Katebush says:

I think brad has aged extremely well. This is the best he has looked for years.
Leo on the other hand has not, I live him as an actor but he doesn’t do it for me in the looks department but then t h he never has.
I’m looking forward to seeing this movie.

  35. Lisa says:

Leo looks good. Brad looks great. The movie is getting a positive reception. I for one will def be seeing. Congrats to them all.

And yes Brad Pitt is still HOT. deal with it.

  36. A says:

I’m not sure what to think about this movie. But I can’t imagine how or why a director, any director, would want to continually rehash the same six tropes over and over again in their work. I get it, Tarantino is iconic for doing his films in a particular way, with particular themes, but even so. Every director of his ilk is proclaimed as “iconic” and “amazing” for their first three movies, and then they very quickly devolve into the same old territory.

Also, I don’t understand how or why people are saying either Brad Pitt or Leo DiCaprio look good. Leo never did it for me when he was younger, but he was by far the better looking one out of the two. But compare them now to any actress of similar age, and the women by far look much much better (for obvious reasons). The two of them should put in more effort into how they look if you ask me. They look very tired and haggard and old.

  37. Valerie says:

    No Pacino?

  38. iconoclast59 says:

If Chanel was going for a 60s vibe with Margot’s outfit, why didn’t they make the pants bell bottoms? Bell bottoms with a more open shoe would’ve made this outfit rock!

  39. Ally says:

I’m not surprised the movie did well at Cannes. Between journalists, rich jerks and movie producers/distributors, the audience for the premiere was probably majority sexist dinosaurs and #metoo perpetrators. Those people would applaud Polanski, Allen or Weinstein again if given the chance.

  40. Ksweet says:

All I can see is Leo’s giant head. That is one enormous noggin.

  41. KLO says:

I am very excited for this movie and can`t wait to go see it.

  42. serena says:

I honestly don’t understand how people find Leo hot nowadays. With Brad, I get he looks good, but I can’t look at him the same way after all the Angelina-bashing he did. Now I just look at them and find them kinda gross *shrugs* .

Also poor Margot, that outfit (and center part hair) is awful.

  43. AmunetMaat says:

All of these comments made me actually look at Leo in the pic and honestly, once I stared at it I do think he looks good here. I take back my previous thoughts about him looking bloated and gross. I think the one button jacket doesn’t do him any favors and it’s clear that he has gained some weight but he isn’t heavy, big-boned or large. His head is just round and full as opposed to his willowy youth. I never dug him back in the day because he looked too much like a boy but here he looks nice.

  44. 10KTurtle says:

I kinda love Margot’s look! Not liking the slicked-back hair on all the men, though.

  45. Ain’tNoTelling says:

Brad looks good. He’s 55 or 56? I’d rather see a man look good at his age, than attempting to look younger. Leo looks like he drinks way too much.

Brad looks somewhat lost without Angelina next to him.

  46. Ain’tNoTelling says:

    Standing O @ Cannes.

    Brad is back in business.
