Snow and sleet likely to affect Monday morning commute

A National Weather Service advisory is warning of snow beginning after 2 a.m. Monday and slippery conditions during the morning rush hour.

As the morning wears on, the forecast calls for a 100 percent chance of rain and snow, possibly mixed with sleet. Accumulation of up to 2 inches is possible.

The high on Monday is expected to be about 35. The precipitation is expected to turn to all rain by Monday night, when a low of about 34 is predicted.

Rain possibly mixed with snow is likely overnight. Tuesday is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 49. There's no more snow or rain in the forecast through Sunday.
