Today we are excited to announce that the MNZ Platform is ready for its first public test ICO.
Since the launch of the MNZ independent blockchain in the fourth quarter of 2017, which was born out of Komodo Platform through its white labelling program, the development team at Monaize has gained an enormous amount of knowledge in the domain, becoming experts in blockchain technology. This has been extremely empowering as we continue on our journey to become the world’s number one hybrid Fintech player, enabling the transition from fiat to crypto by leveraging the small business and freelance community.
In keeping with our ethos of making the complex very simple, the design and development team at Monaize have worked together closely to create a wallet that is sleek, rapid and easy to use.
Token distribution is just one of the first blockchain applications of the MNZ Platform. The back-end infrastructure has been designed so that optimised ICO-related actions can be orchestrated in real-time, including the creation of exclusive token sale bonus coupons for use within the MNZ Wallet.
The MNZ test ICO serves as an opportunity for future MNZ token purchasers to get familiar with the newly developed technology before taking part in the real ICO.
As our first public test, it is also an opportunity to identify any final glitches that we may not be aware of before launching in MainNet. Bug and general participation bounties will be provided to incentivise our community (more details coming soon).
Over the last few weeks, our test participants have been given the opportunity to use the MNZ Wallet which has been open-sourced on gitlab.com (https://gitlab.com/monaize-mnz/mnz-wallet).
The application is a lightweight, Electrum-based, cross platform wallet with BTC / KMD and MNZ embedded as well as basic features including balances, transaction history and withdrawals. It also has a very specific feature that allows the buy functionality for the ICO to be activated remotely when the time comes.
IMPORTANT:
The purpose of the MNZ Test ICO is to showcase and test this lightweight client.
To do so, the MNZ team has created two new KMD asset chains called TESTKMD and TESTMNZ. They will be used alongside BTC in TestNet for this test ICO. They have been created for testing and development ONLY!

Some other features will be introduced during the test such as “couponing” on the blockchain for huge MNZ bonuses.
