Security never sleeps.

For those involved with security, don’t miss an early morning Synergy session on May 24 to learn more about using Citrix solutions to secure high value financial services apps. You know, the apps that are built to handle payment and money, such as the SWIFT financial messaging platform.

Florin Lazurca, senior technical marketing manager for security at Citrix, will present SYN124: Securing high-value applications in bank IT infrastructure at 8:30 a.m. He will describe how network segmentation and centralized security controls limit access.

Back in early 2016, it was discovered that hackers used malware to bypass three international banks’ security systems to gain access to SWIFT terminals. In light of this, Florin will address how the Citrix security architecture for sensitive applications helps member banks address SWIFT’s newly released set of mandatory and advisory security controls.

Don’t miss this timely session.
