September is time for a new term and a new start. It’s time to review your marketing and put plans in place to finish this year on high. This issue of Scribbles will show you how.

New Term – New Start for Your Marketing!

Hi *|HTML:FNAME|*,

September is the time of year when kids go back to school after the summer and students go back to University to start their studies again. A new term and a new start. In business, many people take the same approach after a summer slow-down, so now is a great time to review your marketing and make some plans for the rest of the year. And that’s what this issue of Scribbles is all about, to help you make sure you finish this year on a real high. Enjoy the new term!

Best wishes,

New Term – New Start for Your Marketing!

How’s business been so far this year? Are you on track to achieve what you wanted to achieve by the end of 2016? Hopefully at the start of this year, you set some goals for your business. This could have been related to your turnover, the number of new clients you wanted to work with, the number of workshops you wanted to run or anything else to do with the growth of your business. How close are you to achieving those goals? Don’t wait until the end of December to look back and be disappointed that you didn’t meet your targets. If you’re not on track to hit them, now is the perfect time to do something about it. You still have until the end of the year to meet those goals.

Take each one individually and look at what needs to be done to meet it. For example, one of my main goals is to have 20 people taking part in our new email Magnetic Marketing Course, by the end of the year. The intermediate goal was to create a new website by the end of the summer – and you can see it now at www.Appletreeuk.com!

Another intermediate goal was to build a list of Coaches to whom we can send an email, asking them to complete a survey about their marketing. The list isn’t yet as big as I’d like it to be, so we have some more work to do on that.

To help us promote the course, we decided to run a number of webinars with coaching organisations. These are all now set up and the material has been created. You can see the dates of all the events at the end of this newsletter.

Our final short term goal is to run a webinar to launch the course and the date has now been set for that on 12 October 2016. This gives us a focus for all the marketing – to get the mailing list complete, to send out a series of emails to invite people to take part and to get to grips with the technology for hosting our first webinar!

The trick to all this is to look at your big, exciting, important, long term goal and work backwards from it, to see what marketing you need to do, in order to reach it. When you have a main focus, you can make sure that all your marketing is pulling in the same direction. You can write about it in your blogs and your email newsletter. You can talk about it on social media. You can tell people about it when you go networking or when you give talks and presentations. Integrate all your marketing activities for a much better result!

Start this new term with a new look at where you’re going with your business for the rest of this year. Put some new marketing plans in place, if you need to, to see you through to a great finish for the year.
