Have fun this summer with British Orienteering's free activity resources

British Orienteering has gathered together a wide range of free downloadable resources and activities to help keep the children entertained throughout the summer holidays at home, in the garden or in your local park or other green spaces.

Check out British Orienteering's Get Active page and find a wide range of FREE activities and ideas to enjoy here.

British Orienteering is delighted to have also launched for this summer a new Go Orienteering Portal which has over 500 Permanent Orienteering and Virtual (GPS) Orienteering Course that you can do from home or further afield in parks, forests, woodlands, urban areas near to where you live or further afield.  Great for a family day out together or to do whist visiting family and friends.

The beauty of these courses are that they are suitable for all ages and abilities, and you can go at your own pace and at a time that suits you.  They are great for exploring new areas that you wouldn't normally think of going to.  Just enter the postcode or region where you wish to visit in the search facility, download a map and go!

The portal is easy to use and can be found here:  www.goorienteering.org.uk
