New Hampshire Film Festival

The New Hampshire Film Festival’s popular comedy panel is hosted by Greg Kretschmar. This year’s guests included Tom Bergeron, Hayes MacArthur and Josh Meyers.

PORTSMOUTH — People at The Music Hall in Portsmouth were excited to see “The Lighthouse” on Saturday night.

The psychological thriller was written and directed by Robert Eggers, who grew up in Lee and is known for his critically acclaimed feature, “The Witch.” That movie was widely released in 2016 and grossed more than $40 million.

Television host Tom Bergeron told a story during the comedy panel at the New Hampshire Film Festival, saying he called two of the Three Stooges as a teenager.
