You are one of Strommen’s most popular Language teachers. Students tell us how awesome you are all the time. Why do you think that is?
FABRICE: I think they appreciate the friendly environment I provide. One of the main obstacle to learning a language is self-consciousness. I try my best to get that out of the way.
What languages do you teach?
FABRICE: I teach French.
Where are you from and where have you lived? What do you miss most about your hometown?
FABRICE: I am from the south of France. I lived in several towns in the south (Toulon, Aix-en-Provence, Marseille), but also Paris and London. My hometown, le Pradet, is located in the south of France near Marseille. I miss the beautiful vineyards I get to see when I walk around my parents house.
What is the best restaurant from your home country in LA? What should we order?
FABRICE: Napoleon and Joséphine. And you should order whatever you feel like eating because it’s most likely going to be amazing.
What are your interests outside of teaching at Strommen?
FABRICE: I compose music. I love to watch movies. I love to travel. 
What is the coolest job you had with Strommen?
FABRICE: I got to be Christoph Waltz language coach on the set of a commercial!
Tell us something interesting about one of your students:
FABRICE: Alexandra was a very passionate student. Loved the culture and the language. She ended up moving to Paris which was her dream. She recently moved back here. Her French is impeccable. She now works for Strommen as a French teacher 🙂
Any advice for beginners to your language?
FABRICE: Practice daily! Even if it’s for 15 minutes.
What is your favorite word in your language and why?
FABRICE: “Chouette”. That’s what we used to say when we would get excited when we were kids. It’s kinda like saying “sweet!”.
What is your favorite thing about teaching your language specifically?
FABRICE: I love when my students understand the jokes I make in French, and are able to make jokes in French too!
