• How you can tell if the money transfer service you use is registered

• What AUSTRAC is doing to ensure all money transfer services are registered

• What communities can do about unregistered money transfer services

• What help is available for businesses who want to register as a money transfer service

At this forum you will hear from AUSTRAC senior staff, as well as have the opportunity to ask questions to a panel of AUSTRAC experts. Factsheets translated in a number of languages will also be there for you to take.

This event is part of a national series of meetings suppporting AUSTRAC’s focus on unregistered money transfer businesses. A range of community leaders and media outlets will be in attendance.

By car: parking is available in surrounding streets or at the Queen Victoria Market.

By public transport: Melbourne Central station is a 10-minute walk from the venue. Tram routes 19, 57 and 59 also run past the Multicultural Hub.
