eleven
Data from Ofcom shows that at eleven the number of
kids with smartphones starts to exceed the number with
feature phones, and grows sharply from this point

17. eBay’s mobile-centric Pop-up Shop in London
eBay opened a pop-up shop made of
shipping containers in London in the
final weekend of November. No
physical goods were on sale, but
visitors could shop on their phones
with the eBay app, and see products
using augmented reality

19. 10% of the films at Sundance in 2012 were funded through
Kickstarter
Kickstarter is an astonishing success story. It was only founded
in 2009, but in 2012 320 million was raised to fund over 18,000
projects, including 63 films that were released in cinemas

25. Bodyform respond to Richard
When Richard posted a sarcastic comment on Bodyform’s
Facebook page, he didn’t know that they’d respond in the same
spirit. The video was produced within a week, and has had over
three million views in 3 months
