Amy Schumer on Hilaria Baldwin: ‘You can’t just pretend you’re from Spain.’

(FILE) Amy Schumer Donates 2,500 KN95 Masks to New York Hospital Amid Coronavirus COVID-19 Pandemic....

The timeline on the “Hilaria Baldwin is a fraud who lied about being Spanish” story is pretty interesting, actually, and it involved Amy Schumer, although we didn’t talk about Schumer at the time. The whole thing started when Schumer started clowning on Hilaria for always posing in lingerie, holding her babies and doing provocative yoga poses. This made Hilaria happy, because then she got to pretend that people were “attacking” her for being hot and for losing her pregnancy weight fast. Hilaria posted a video on her social media where she lamented just that – people being mean to her because she’s hot and flexible. The thing is, in the video, Hilaria had no trace of a Spanish accent. She sounded like any old bitchy, self-absorbed American woman (which is what she is). THAT led to Twitter peeps doing a deeper dive into “Hilaria” and her crazy accent work and her Spanish lies.

As the Hilaria/Hillary controversy picked up, Amy Schumer exited the conversation. She was wise to do so! And now Amy has chosen this moment to chat about all the sh-t that went down, and so help me, I enjoyed what she had to say.

Amy Schumer is sharing her thoughts on the Hilaria Baldwin heritage controversy. The 39-year-old comedian hilariously trolled Alec Baldwin’s wife over Instagram last month, just weeks before the internet started questioning Hilaria’s identity, background and accent. At the time, Schumer used a photo of the yoga instructor in her underwear (cuddling her 4-month-old son, Eduardo), for her own pseudo holiday card.

“Gene and I wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday season,” Schumer joked in the caption, referencing her own 1-year-old son, whom she shares with husband Chris Fischer. “Enjoy it with whatever family members are talking to you this year.”

Now, in an exclusive interview with ET’s Rachel Smith, Schumer explains why she ultimately deleted the post poking fun at Hilaria. She also reacts to all the recent backlash the mother of five has received over allegations that she’s exaggerated her connection to Spain.

“Oh my god, I really don’t even know what to say. I didn’t know that was going to happen, obviously,” Schumer said of the scandal. “I feel like it was so insane and entertaining that I think Hilaria is probably the only person who is happy about the insurrection in the Capitol, because it distracted [people] from that. She is amazing and I wish her and her family the best. And I hope she gets to visit Spain as much as she wants.”

Schumer told ET that when she originally reposted Hilaria’s pic as her own on Instagram, she “just thought it was funny” and had no idea that the Baldwins would be making headlines weeks later. “It’s a little insane to be in, like, lingerie with your baby. I just thought that was a little funny, and then I saw that she made a video and she seemed a little bit upset,” Schumer recalled. “Not at me, but about the comments she was getting. I was just like, ‘I don’t want to be mean,’ and she seemed like maybe it hurt her feelings, so I just took it down.”

“We were just playing with each other, and then the whole Spain thing came out,” she continued. “I just felt like everybody else watching it. Just like, ‘What is going on?’ I thought we were still kinda playing, so I wrote, ‘Hey, look, I love Spain too.’ But then it became this whole big thing and people were really upset so I just took it down [too].”

Schumer said that she quickly realized she wanted to take herself “out of the narrative.”

“Look, she’s a mom. She has a million and a half kids, and that’s really hard,” she joked. “So I just — I don’t want them to be going through a bad time. But also, you can’t just pretend you’re from Spain.”

[From Entertainment Tonight]

“I wish her and her family the best. And I hope she gets to visit Spain as much as she wants.” LOL. “I don’t want them to be going through a bad time. But also, you can’t just pretend you’re from Spain.” Yeah. That’s it in a nutshell. It’s not that people wish Bostonian Hillary Thomas ill, it’s just that she was f–king lying about being from Spain. For years. You can’t do that. It’s sketchy! I feel like Amy accidentally uncovered that someone she barely knows has serious mental health issues and she doesn’t know what else to say but “I hope she’s okay, but wow, this B is crazy.”

I’m curious to know what kind of PR strategy Hillary-from-Boston will use to get out of this…

    • AnnaKist says:

Me, too! And did Alec know she was only acting? Did she speak to him and the kids with a Spanish accent? How about her parents/family? Will she keep it up? Did Alec ever tell ger to come clean? Will he stay with her, or is the embarrassment too great – bearing in mind his past idiotic behaviour? So many questions.

      • cassandra says:

This would all make an excellent tv show haha. You could spin it so many ways. It could be a light hearted sitcom, it could be a dark/edgy streaming series. 10/10 would watch

      • Coping says:

I’m gonna say Vanillary Hillary is a great gas lighter. She’s good at that. Seems in every interview Alec is confused but going with it. Her PR Team is gonna take a play from team trump & blame & wait out another distraction drama.

      • Joan Rivers says:

She didn’t even speak in PUBLIC w/her “Spanish accent” all the time, so he had to know.

I also found the “lingerie w/the baby” thing funny and weird.
So fake. When they spit up on you it’ll be on your bare skin!
        Or pricey teddy.

Amy’s cooking show on Food Netwk. w/her chef husband was a treat.

    • BnLurkN4eva says:

She missed the obvious PR spine, which was to laugh and say, “you guys finally caught on, you got me. It started as a lark and I had so much fun with it that I couldn’t quit and wanted to see how long it would take for everyone to figure it out.” There done, most people would have laughed and/or snarked, it would have been a story for like a day and then people would have moved on. This doubling down only shows that she’s not only dishonest, but she thinks everyone else is stupid.

    • Sarah says:

Well, she gained 50k+ IG followers during all this, so my guess is she eventually pops back up there like nothing happened.

      • kif says:

I believe these are bought followers. She’s losing sponsors so she needs to show that she’s still got a lot of followers. Even two-bit influencers buy followers so hopefully sponsors will not be fooled in supporting her again.

    • Mignionette says:

@Andrew’s Nem – isn’t Alec now living desperately from Hilarious ?

I personally think Alec will leave / divorce her as collateral damage. I can’t see how she can come back from this so she’ll take the L and a few million and dissappear.

    • Anne Call says:

Said the same thing to be husband the other day, “Hillary B must be super grateful for that insurrection”.

    • minx says:

I don’t know how she thought she could get away with it. There’s very little that can’t be uncovered these days.

  2. Sayrah says:

Co-sign Amy’s thoughts here. That was a wacky but fun story to end the year, but yeah, Hillary likely has some sort of mental illness going on so let’s hope she gets better.

    • Yup, Me says:

I think we need to stop giving white people who engage in fuckery mental health excuses for their assholish behaviors. It absolves them of the responsibility of addressing the issue.

Appropriation and lying are not mental health issues. Hillary lied because being a regular ass white girl yoga teacher got her minimal attention while being “exotic” and fake tanned and from Spain got her a career and Alec Baldwin and also eventually drummed up business for her family members’ businesses too. That’s not mental health issues; that’s being a con artist.

Let’s stop babying assholes; that’s white privilege at play, too.

      • alibeebee says:

@ YUP totally agree with you … if this were an Obvious POC who did this she’d be in the gallows. Hillary doesn’t get a pass with me. She knew what she was doing.

      • Coping says:

        100% agree. Thanks!!!p

      • Sumodo1 says:

^^^^This. Have we NOT learned from Don The Con?

      • L4frimaire says:

Totally agree. She just thought being a boring rich WASP wasn’t enough and wanted more out of life than school fundraisers for some Upper East Side preschool with the other rich yoga influencer moms. Needed to make her “ brand” distinct and snag a celebrity husband while at it. I like an ambitious girl but like Amy said, could have still loved Spain, Spanish culture, even gotten citizenship without lying about your ethnicity being Spanish.

      • Jaded says:

Chica is simply thirstier than a camel fart. If being a shameless self-promoter by faking an accent and foreign background is a mental illness I’m an elk.

      • Susan says:

I’d also argue that a long game con like that takes calculation, strategy, effort…something that not everyone has the time, focus, energy, means or ability to do. Imagine changing your personal history to suit a narrative….all the leaks you must plug, lies to keep up with, etc. Hell, I am struggling to keep up my lies with my son that is starting to not believe in Santa and asks TOO MANY QUESTIONS it makes me nervous. LOL.

      • Myra says:

Agreed. Sometimes people are just liars. Maybe a therapist can get at the bottom of why she felt she needed to lie, but not everything is a mental illness. Like @Sayrah said though, it was just a wacky, fun story that we quickly forgot about. Now Amy has made sure that we don’t. I see what you did there, Amy.

      • Lanie says:

Yep. She’s a whole scammer. So are her family members.

  3. jules says:

That picture with them laughing always brightens my day lol.

  4. Ang says:

I would LOVE to know if Alec was grifted, or how much he knew. He is on tape, many times, referencing his “Spanish” wife and mimicking her (non-existent) Spanish accent. Was he in on it or sincerely fooled??? And how do you get past a lie like that, no matter how tight your wife’s butt?

    • Monette says:

Hahaha, no matter how tight your wife’s butt is.

      • Nicole says:

Exactly, yes. She lied and made them (and therefore him) look foolish to everybody. I mean… the Baldwins spent a long time being comedy fodder in the 90s and Alec has always been the most A list of the lot. Didn’t Basinger say he had a real temper?

      • Mac says:

Alec does plenty on his own to look foolish. They are a perfect match.

    • Trillion says:

maybe she knows how turned-on he was when working w/ Selma Hayak on 30Rock so she tried to match her in some way.

    • whatWHAT? says:

      I’m with you.

what did he know and when did he know it? I’m not sure it would change how I feel about him but I sure am curious to know how much he was fooled, if at all, and for how long.

    • dogmom says:

He for sure had to know before they got married. They probably had a prenup, right? And we already saw those legal documents she signed when she and her yoga studio got sued by that yoga teacher — she was just plain ol’ Hilary Thomas on those. So she knows she can’t sign anything legal with her BS Spanish identity.

      • Sarah says:

I suspect they *don’t* have a prenup and that’s why they’ll stay together. Whatever Alec knew and when, that child army will bankrupt him if they divorce.

    • Veronica S. says:

That’s the part that I find hilariously interesting about this. DID ALEC KNOW?? WAS HE IN ON IT?? Did he dig it, like some kind of pseudo-Latina fetish?? I simply must know.

    • Hyrrokin says:

My theory is he knows, but he knows it’s faked for her yoga/lifestyle stuff. He probably considers her to be doing an acting job rather than influencing (they go hand in hand anyway) and doesn’t care that it might spill over into their personal lives.

  5. Lucy2 says:

I like Amy’s comments here, and appreciate that she didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, but also is like whoa that’s a little crazy.

  6. tempest prognosticator says:

The Hilaria scandal remains the most deliciously odd celebrity gossip.

  7. sarphati says:

I recall pretending I had a British accent when the Beatles were hot. But I was 12!

    • Aphra says:

I pretended to have an Irish accent when I was living in Dublin because I didn’t want to stick out. And I was only 18!

    • Nina says:

When I was about 8 I was at the playground with two friends and we told other kids we were the Monkees’ sisters. True story. We couldn’t keep the accents straight tho….. thanks for making me remember this, it was [looking back] so hilarious in a Hilaria way. SO sorry, i’ve only had one coffee.

  8. Susan says:

I haven’t always been an Amy Schumer fan but she has really grown on me lately. Is it the motherhood, the infertility, her maturing or am I changing my tastes? Can’t decide. But I kinda love her these days.

    • Kathleen says:

Infertility absolutely can soften people because it’s so gut wrenching and humbling and horrible. I’m not saying that all people who go through IVF become better people (bc they don’t) but some people do and Amy may be one of them.

    • Lexilla says:

At least you can count on her to say what she thinks, whether you like those thoughts or not. And I tend to. Plus I like her pandemic cooking show with her husband on Food Network.

      • paranormalgirl says:

The cooking show was what made me like her. I couldn’t stand her before. But she was just so real and funny on the show.

      • Dee Kay says:

I love Amy Schumer Learns to Cook!!! That show is hilarious. I also think she chose a terrific husband for her — someone who can feed her delicious food anytime (she clearly super duper LOVES that he is an award-winning chef) and is mellow and level and is happy to be the calm straight-man to her wacky-Lucy energy. Good pick, Amy Schumer!!

      • Ann says:

I always liked her even when I felt she kind of took it….too far? We saw her live in Houston a few years ago. The audience was pretty packed. My daughter and her friend were with us, granted definitely old enough to handle her OTT sexual sharing (both around 19), and already familiar with her work. I didn’t love the whole show, but she had some very funny moments. My favorite part was giving a hard time to people who had actual front, middle-row tickets who showed up late. It was glaring and she handled it perfectly. She said “can we agree to give these people endless shit when they show up?” They did, and she teased them, but it wasn’t mean-spirited. It was very funny and fair.

Also, a few years back on her show she did a parody of “Twelve Angry Men” that was one of the most brilliant parodies I have ever seen. Paul Giamatti was in it. IMO it kind of gives her a lifelong pass. Look it up if you haven’t seen it.

Also, I thought she handled the Hilaria Baldwin thing perfectly.

    • Lawcatb says:

I think Amy’s done a lot of work on herself over the past few years and tried to educate herself on what it’s like to not be a privileged white woman and the trappings that perspective can contain.

    • Trillion says:

same! And I devoured her “Amy Schumer learns to cook” show. She and her husband have such natural, fun chemistry. And I even got some good kitchen tips!

    • Insomniac says:

I don’t like her, but the above was hilarious. “A million and a half kids.” Snort. The shade!

    • Anne Call says:

Her show Inside Amy Schumer was really funny. The episode called 12 Angry Men is a spoof on the movie and it’s a jury of men (bunch of famous actors) deciding if Amy is hot enough to be on tv. It’s “hilarious”.

  9. Deanne says:

That’s it in a nutshell. Clearly the woman has some mental health issues, but you can’t just pretend to be from Spain. I still want to know if Alex was grifted or in on the grift.

  10. LaUnicaAngelina says:

I like what Amy had to say. The post that kicked all of this off was Hillaryous. 😂

I think Alec was originally grifted by Hillary but he had to have figured it out at some point and just with it.

    • lucy2 says:

I agree – that was part of her schtick to land him (what a prize) and by the time he figured it out, he’d probably already told everyone she was Spanish and had to keep up the ruse.
      The story is nuts!

      • LaUnicaAngelina says:

@Lucy2, I agree that once he found out, he kept up the rise to save face. This story fascinates me from a psychological perspective.

  11. Merricat says:

God help her if she made Alec a fool–might as well poke a rabid attack dog with pointy stick. What a mess.

    • Pusspants says:

The only thing I like about this is that she made Alec look foolish (or at least one more example of it). I can’t stand this man and don’t care how talented he is. I will never forget the audio of him calling his teenage daughter a “pig”. He’s abusive and full of rage. I just want him to go away! Oh, and his impersonation of trump sucked and was about as good as any moron could have done it.

      • Coping says:

Alex IS talented. He’s stuck it out for a long haul career…
Let’s all remember that HILARIA -was- Alec’s “good” PR that saved him from his “pig” past. Now America’s newest Rachel Dolezal = landlines worth of negative PR. Alec can’t seem to catch a break- most volatile men can’t really outrun their karma.

      • Merricat says:

The Baldwin men are known for their towering rages. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone.

      • Lanie says:

        A “thoughtless little pig.”

I didn’t forget either. Nor did I forget him going the men’s rights route and whining about parental alienation. He couldn’t imagine why Ireland was keeping her distance from him after that.

I’d hate to grow up with him around.

    • Sumodo1 says:

I’d love to be a fly 🪰 on Tina Fey’s wall because she’s probably laughing her azz off and writing a spec script for “My Spanish Yoga Wife” starring Alec Baldwin and Sophia Vergara. Because if Tina Fey doesn’t write it, I WILL!!!

  12. Ariel says:

I’ve been looking at Alec’s laugh in photos with his wife, seemingly performative- an over-expression. Not too much is *that* funny. Duchess Kate of the House of Petty tends to do the same thing.

    • Meg says:

Ugh i always wondered why kate did that. To seem more happy than she was? It reeked of performance and overcompensating IMO

      • Susan says:

It’s odd because if you look back at older photos of Kate, her smiles and laughs seemed real. Even after marriage, that Canadian tour comes to mind, she seemed happy then. I know we age and we lose some of our youthful vigor but she really has come off as a cipher in recent years.

  13. FHMom says:

Amy’s motherhood realness is a delight. I totally understand why Hillary in lingerie would get on her nerves. I mean, come on. Hillary has a half dozen kids and loves to show off her perfect post baby body. She is no victim, and she brought this on herself.

  14. Summergirl says:

The other crazy thing about the Hilaria in lingerie with the baby picture is that she claimed her daughter, Carmen, took it. I mean, how? Why? I feel like Hilaria was trying to suggest it was just a candid family photo spontaneously taken by her daughter, but why would a six-year-old child take a glamour shot of her mother in lingerie with the baby? Is hilaria always asking her poor daughter to take pictures of her?

    • Sayrah says:

Look at the baby’s toes in the pic if you can find it. It’s so photoshopped I don’t know how I missed it at the first glance.

      • HappyDay says:

YES that is photoshopped picture of a woman in lingerie holding a baby. Such a “crap on moms around the world” thing to do…she complains about “body inclusivity” yet ‘shops he own damn photo. Oh no VaniLLary, Oh no you do not.

  15. JanetDR says:

I like how Any reacted to this, she took down her perfectly reasonable and funny posts for causing upset, and that statement – you just can’t pretend you’re from Spain -sets off how crazy this is!

  16. MsDiMeanOur says:

so being pretty shallow here and completely off topic
The kids are all blonde so she is obviously blonde but she dyes her hair black
then over the dyed black her
she applies blonde dye to look “Hispanic”?

    • lucy2 says:

I think when the high school photos came out, she definitely has lighter hair, so it sure looks like she dyes it dark and then dyes it light on top of it.

    • Sandra says:

Google “Penelope Cruz blonde highlights.” I think Hillary tries to model herself look like her.

    • Willow says:

Perhaps she from one of those families where the kids were all blond when little and their hair got darker as they got older? My husband’s family is like that. Blue eyes do the same thing as well. A lot of blue eyed blond babies end up being hazel eyed brown haired adults.

      • Ann says:

My brother and I were blonde babies. Now he has very dark brown hair and I have brown hair. It lightens a little in the sun but is in no way blond. My eyes were cornflower blue, now they’re greenish.

    • AMother says:

My kids were blond as children and brunette as adults. Kids hair often darkens as they mature so don’t jump to conclusions.

    • HappyDay says:

Yes>>>, Only Puerto Ricans can call her look “Puerto Rican blonde”, because who among us Actual LatinX decents doesn’t have that ONE aunty/tia who has the bad blonde home dye job.
That “move” of hers was on my list but it’s hard to explain unless you ARE in some Hispanic culture or LIVED amongst

    • 2lazy4username says:

My daughter’s father and I both have very dark hair and my 20-yr old daughter is very blonde.
Wasn’t Stephen Baldwin blonde when younger?

  17. Aang says:

Well apparently you can. For years. And then your lie can get exposed and everyone will laugh at you. Then the next “scandal” comes along and you rebrand yourself on Instagram and people will barely remember.

  18. sa says:

I had a friend in college that told me she lived in the dorms. It turned out she didn’t even go to my school, but went to a junior college and lived at home. When I found out she lied about everything, I wanted nothing to do with her anymore and we never spoke again. Every now and then I think of her and feel guilty that I wasn’t more understanding, because I don’t think you make up lies like that out of malice, but out of deep seated insecurities and other personal issues. And I hope that she’s worked through whatever caused her to lie about her life like that.

This Hilaria Baldwin thing is similar to me. It’s not okay what she did, and I don’t think the public needs to be okay with her at all, but I hope those close to her are there for her and maybe seeing that she gets therapy or something.

    • Willow says:

If you were friends it’s understandable that you would be hurt by that. When I was taking a summer class at a community college as an adult, most of the college age students talked about the different 4 yr colleges they attended during the school year. Next semester in the fall, I passed one of those students in the hall at the community college, so obviously not at the 4 yr one he said he was attending. One time he noticed me and immediately ducked his head down and turned away in embarrassment, so I pretended I didn’t see him. We were only acquaintances, so there was only that one lie, which made it easy for me to feel bad for him and wonder what circumstances caused him to be so ashamed or lie.
BTW, I attended classes at both a 4 yr university and a community college and the education was equally top-notch. And at the community college, no classes were taught by graduate students and the same instructor taught the class and the lab. So I don’t know why they are looked down on.

      • sa says:

We were friends and it was lies on top of lies to maintain the original lie. But I still feel like I maybe could have been more compassionate than I was. It’s interesting that a similar thing happened to you.

I agree that community colleges are much better than people’s idea of them. I took 2 classes one summer at my local community college in NY, one of them was a writing class because my university required 2 writing classes and the first one was possibly the worst class I ever took – with a graduate student as the teacher. I couldn’t stomach the idea of another semester of that nonsense. I loved my community college writing class. It was both more challenging and just all around better than the class my school offered (and taught by a professor). Another summer I stayed in LA and took 2 classes at a JC ($13 a credit!) and when I realized that I wouldn’t be able to complete the classes, I switched to auditing them because they were so interesting and compelling that I wanted to keep going even though I wasn’t going to get credit. Community colleges and junior colleges are awesome and if I had it to do over again I would do my first 2 years at one and then transfer and save some money.

  19. Jess says:

I had to dig into her Instagram videos after this story came out, I just assumed she was from Spain but never actually heard her speak!! Everything she did had a little bit of Spanish flair to it, the names she chose for her children, the music she plays on her weird lingerie videos, her name, and yes even her “accent” at times. I’m betting this little game had a lot to do with snagging a rich actor. It’s fascinating to me in a way but also very sad for her, nothing wrong with being your authentic as well.

  20. Sandra says:

Sometimes Amy is just really on the mark and really funny about it. This is one of those times.
Sidenote: I was watching the episode of 30 Rock the other night where Jack Donaghey’s doppelgänger plays “El Generalisimo” on a Spanish language telenovela. I couldn’t stop laughing.

    • Aphra says:

He may be an ass in real life, but that was a GREAT character and he played it beautifully. And Salma Hayak was deliciously “zaftig”!

      • Sandra says:

OMG Salma was fantastic on the show. That was my favorite season. It includes the Jackie Jorpjomp episode. How can ya not love it?

  21. mary.kearney@aol.com E Kearney says:

Amy is very cute. That’s all I got.

    • amiloo says:

She is. I was as annoyed with her as anyone, but she’s grown on me tremendously.

I love the pandemic cooking show she does with her husband — they both crack me up.

  22. Mabs A'Mabbin says:

Apparently you can. For a time.

  23. Meg says:

I dont think she actually convinced herself shes spanish i think she did this for the attention completely. I think the lengths she went to feed her narcissism is the issue here. Why she needs so much attention is what she should look into but narcissists tend to not question themselves

    • Coping says:

@meg. I’m an hillaryVanillaryBaldwin Longhauler. I’ve done such a deep dive & been swimming in cucumbear.
Hillary was a popular dancer/yoga teacher. She went on vacay to Spain & returned w the grift- changed her name to hilaria & opened yoga vida. The trendy place attracted many ny A listers. She wanted to BE an A lister. Popular Yoga teachers get big heads, si?
      Cue Alec & everything else.

  24. Winnie Cooper’s Mom says:

Loving Amy these days. I second all the positive comments here about her pandemic cooking show – it’s so much fun to watch! She is very funny.

Hillary Baldwin should be so embarrassed. I hope she’s not a “thing” anymore. Anyone who actively lies about their background and profits off of that deserves to be humbled.

  25. emmy says:

This is a good take on the whole thing. I don’t think people wanted the woman to suffer (I don’t even know which name to use LOL) but it was just so crazy! Who does that??? Did she think she could keep this up indefinitely? I have so many questions. What about her kids? Was she lying to them? Questions. So many of them.

You can’t just go around pretending to be the niece of the Senate Majority Leader. Oh, wait. . .

    • Ann says:

She has never claimed to be his niece. She’s his cousin. They’re not first cousins, I believe second or third, but still cousins.

      • Bettyrose says:

Sorry, that was a joke. I know she doesn’t work that angle. I just saw a chance to refer to Schumer as the Senate Majority Leader and went with it. Sounds so good 😍

(I did think she was his niece though. Didn’t realize they’re only distantly related)

I’m Queen of the Universe. Nothing sweats me. I work a 9-5 just to stay humble.

  28. Tay says:

Hillary ( yeah that’s how I’m going to spell it) has been a thrist trap since day one.
I’m shocked Alec fell for all this bc he seemed street wise. Boy was I wrong.
I picture her as a Jersey girl who wore every fashion dont all her life until she figured out how to go on the grift.

  29. Mignionette says:

She knew what she was doing.

Budget Sophia Vergara even changed her whole look to match the fake persona. That is what is really messed up,

The Bloviator is getting payback. I always wondered if the karma set in motion from publicly blasting his daughter as “a pig” would hit him where it hurts. 5 kids with a grifter will hurt ANYBODY in the wallet.

He will divorce her, no matter the amount of followers she buys.

  32. Freddy says:

HIllary/Hilaria looks like she can never decide between Spain’s Queen Letizia or Penelope Cruz Cosplay

  33. Emerald rCrystal says:

Didn’t the whole thing start because she wanted to land the movie star Baldwin and knew he had a thing for petite Latino women, like Penelope Cruz? So, I’m going to assume that she must have kept it a secret from Baldwin until the deal was sealed. I’m wondering, if he’s wondering what else she’s been dishonest about in her life. I’ve seen Alec bragging about her and how beautiful she is while being interviewed on different media. He doesn’t seem to understand that he was the real catch here; a famous rich actor who probably could have gotten any younger and beautiful woman to marry him. He’s made statements about how lucky he was to get her and she’s the one who could have married anyone else. Anyway, I agree that she should have just made a joke about it and said something like, “I’m Hillary during the day and Hilaria by night.” Usually, unless you have killed someone, making fun of your situation lightens the whole thing up and people move along.

  34. Gippy says:

Eh, I don’t think Hillary has a mental illness she just craves attention. I truly think it started as a lark and she kind of got stuck with it lol. Like this cracks my sh*t up!! It’s still appropriation and she’s an a-hole, but this situation allll of her own making.
I love Amy! I follow her on IG, her IVF and awareness of her own(mine as well) privilege really humanized her to me. I think her husband really helped her mature and look deeper at certain issues. And my apologies if I say this incorrectly, he is a person on the spectrum. And I love that he’s doing so amazing publicly has to feel good for those who are neurodivergent.
