2017 has been an extraordinary year for Makerwiz by any measure. Here is our year by the numbers:
We organized or participated in a whopping 33 maker events from coast to coast, including workshops, maker faires, makerspace crawls, community outreach programs, and many more.
We developed aerial videography expertise and flew over 150 km with our
DJI drones to capture many precious moments around the country for Canada 150.
We completed a dozen rapid prototyping projects by digital fabrication for educational and professional clients.
We moved into one new facility on Yonge Street combining
3D Tech Shop, DigiFab Lab and STEAM3d Space.
We are Canada's most comprehensive supplier of premium desktop 3D printing equipment, featuring 6 premium 3D printer manufacturers (
MakerBot,
LulzBot,
CraftBot,
Printrbot,
BEEVERYCREATIVE and
ZMorph) and many other quality brands.
Finally, we celebrated our 3rd birthday on December 17, just a few days ago!
