Some mountain passes blocked by snow

Due to a significant drop in freezing levels‚ snowfalls have already been reported in parts of the country. The cut-off low is expected to intensify over the next couple of days.While some people have been enjoying exquisite scenery‚ other parts of the country were witnessing road closures on Monday.If you are going to make your way to the following places‚ please note that some roads are closed off due to snow:Lootsberg Pass‚ between Graaff- Reinet and Middleburg along the Sneeuberg region Wapadsberg Pass‚ between Nieu Bethesda and Cradock along the Sneeuberg regionBarkly Pass‚ between Barkly East and Elliot in the Drakensberg/Witteberge region Penhoek Pass‚ between Queenstown and Jamestown‚ part of the Stormberge regionBoesmanshoek Pass between Sterkstroom and Molteno‚ part of the Stormberg/Bamboesberg region Mackay's Nek pass along the R56 between Matatiele and Mount Fletcher‚ Drakensberg regionCala Pass between Elliot and Cala - Mackay's Nek and Nonesi's Nek between Queenstown to Cala R392 stretch between Queenstown to Dordrecht Satan's Nek Pass along the R56 between Elliot and Engcobo ..
