  • Repeater Books will publish an anthology of the late writer and theorist Mark Fisher's works in late 2018. The Wire reports the new collection will include writings on "politics, popular culture, music, film and television," including an unpublished piece on the recent US election. Simon Reynolds will pen the introduction for the as-yet-unnamed book, which will be edited by Darren Ambrose. Fisher died in January, but his writings—on his blog K-Punk, in publications such as The Wire and in books like Capitalist Realism—have had a lasting impact on artists such as Kode9 and Holly Herndon. Resident Advisor’s Angus Finlayson spent some time tracing Fisher's influence via interviews with Reynolds, Herndon, Tim Lawrence, Jeremy Greenspan and more as part of our monthly podcast, The Hour.
