Desk Donating – Can helping a start-up to grow add a dynamic to your own business? We certainly think so!
Having read Lucy Tobin’s article in the Evening Standard last week, it’s great to see other businesses' jumping on the trend of donating desk and office space to young and start-up businesses. This is an initiative that LDG have trailed since 2011 when we donated part of our office to a family run cleaning business who needed a West End base. Since then, we have willingly opened our arms to a number of small and start-up businesses, more recently donating spare space to a start-up Interior Design Firm, who have been sharing with us for just over a year.
The team has loved working alongside a design-led business, with ideas being shared, and the opportunity of learning from each other. The Partners have certainly noticed our staff discuss design and build matters with clients more confidently as a result. It has even led to project collaborations, with our clients delighted they have a whole team under one roof! We'd certainly give a big thumbs up to desk donating and helping young businesses grow, helping you grow in return.
