Have you started to use videos in your training and services yet?

It´s not only a trend - but a must to include videos as a part of your training or service concept. Transforming from e-learning and long presentations to micro learning and covering situation based needs - the short video has become an important tool in your tool box.

Read this short blog post on how and why videos are so important and why it is not only trending but booming in 2016 - https://elearningindustry.com/2016-training-trends-video

Situation based acquirement of knowledge

In the "Guerliia e-Learning" perspective - videos are crucial not only for the accessibility - but for the focus on a specific topic/issue they address.  If you didn´t watch it before - check my presentation from a transnational conference in Bordeaux there the LEXSHA project presented some conclusions regarding entrepreneurial ways of sharing knowledge and experience.

Providing new skills and knowledge as a Service

If you want to know more about these concepts - you can also check the "Knowledge as a Service" intro - http://www.smebox.com/news--tips/knowledge-as-a-service. The difference in transferring knowledge from one person to another in a traditional environment like a class room, workplace etc is now replaced with digital methods - not at least videos. But you can also find pods, e-books and other tools to be used - depending on content and situation it addresses.

Videos to inspire students to become Entrepreneurs

In an Erasmus project, REAL, we are now producing 48 video lessons (5-8 minutes each) and 48 animated videos (1-3 minutes each) - with the content of Entrepreneurship & Business - aiming at students and to motivate and inspire them to see entrepreneurship and starting a business as an interesting career.

Here is an example of the animated videos:

In both SMEBOX and SME Academy we are now very much engaged in learning how to improve our videos to be more appetizing and beneficial to our viewers.

Good Luck with your Video project!
