Panel discussion at Holy Trinity will address ‘Living Laudato Si’ ’

“Living Laudato Si’, ” a panel discussion related to Pope Francis’ encyclical on care for creation, will be presented at Holy Trinity Church, 501 Cherrywood Road, at 7 p.m. on Oct. 4, the feast of St. Francis of Assisi.

“Experts in the areas of theology, science and recycling will frame current environmental issues facing our common home, situate the challenges within a spiritual context, and offer practical steps that individuals and families can take to begin the earth’s healing,” said an announcement from the parish.

Panelists will include two Bellarmine University faculty members, Dr. Gregory Hillis and Dr. Robert Kingsolver, and Amanda Walukas of Republic Services Waste Disposal and Kim Martinez of QRS Recycling.
