The eyewear brand Walter & Herbert reveals new frames and sunglasses named after English icons

Walter & Herbert has launched 14 new optical frames and two sunglasses as an extension of its Made in England collection.

All of the frames are named after English icons such as the composer, Edward Elgar, the artist and sculptor, Barbara Hepworth and the scientist, Barnes Wallis.

Styles available in the collection include ‘Blake,’ an extra-large frame which has a distinctive double bridge. The company describes it as the perfect statement accessory and it’s available in two colourways – storm grey and indigo ember.

Wallis model

The ‘Elgar’ is a simple and classic style frame designed to fit most face shapes and features two tone quirky sides for an added touch of individuality. Colour options include midnight sapphire, golden topaz, flaming sapphire and arctic midnight.

‘Hepworth’ has a soft rectangular frame with a two-tone detailing in warm autumn hues and comes in three colourways, midnight ember, scarlet ember and autumn violet.

‘Wallis’ (pictured) is a petite round shape with two tone sides. It features a keyhole bridge that makes it comfortable to wear while also displaying a unique finish. Wallis is available in four colourways which include; midnight ember, champagne marblewood, flaming ember and crystalline tort.
