Karleen Tauszik, Tip Top Books, author, imprint

As a former human resources professional, author Karleen Tauszik was discouraged by frequent reports in the media stating that over 50% of American adults feel disengaged and unsatisfied in their jobs.

Combining this discovery with her HR knowledge, Karleen developed the first-of-its-kind annual career possibility journal for children, When I Grow Up, I Want To Be… However, people often asked, “When are you going to write a book like this for adults?”. This prompted her to create the other three books in the series, covering the career needs of all ages.

Karleen Tauszik is the author of over 30 books and the owner and Chief Creativity Officer of her publishing imprint, Tip Top Books.

Editorial Reviews

Review

“I love this book! The questions are helpful for kids of any age.”—Chris Guillebeau, explorer and bestselling author of BORN FOR THIS

“Karleen Tauszik has created a brilliant tool for discovering superpowers. This wonderful book will get kids thinking, right from the start, of the things that bring them joy—and realize that they can include those things in the work that will make up so much of their life. If you care about a kid, don’t wait to give them this treasure.”—Barbara J. Winter, author of MAKING A LIVING WITHOUT A JOB.

My goal as an author? To get your kids to LOVE reading as much as I did when I was their age...and as much as I still do! As a child, I had the goal (not met) to read every book in the children's section of my local library. Through the books I write for ages 9-12, that's the kind of fervor I hope to instill in kids today.

Learn more at my website, www.KarleenT.com, where you'll be able to sign up for your choice of fun things to read, including 50 Simple Steps for Reading Success for parents and a variety of things for kids. You'll also receive my newsletter full of more reading tips and news, plus announcements of my latest books.

I grabbed this book for my youngest after hearing about ...
I grabbed this book for my youngest after hearing about it from another parent. I think Karleen's workbook should be required curriculum in our schools, as it builds a catalog of a child's honest thoughts as they age. These thoughts are often forgotten or dismissed as unimportant later in life but really can be used to information to reflect on when considering those pivotal life decisions.I can't wait for my son to be able to look back and be informed from his childhood. I only wish I had done the same!
