Quentin Groves, a former standout defensive end/linebacker for Auburn who went on to play for five NFL teams, died Saturday at the age of 32. USA Today’s Luke Easterling reported that the cause of death was a heart attack, but no official determination has yet been released.

A spokesman for Auburn said (via the Associated Press) that Groves died in his sleep while visiting Trinidad, the native country of his wife. At the NFL combine in 2008, Groves was discovered to have Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, which causes a rapid heartbeat.
