CAA Football's Week 12 Player of the Week honorees are featured below. A link to each school's release will be added to each player's name over the course of the week as they become available.

Offensive Player of the Week: Terrance West, Sophomore, RB, Towson
West closed out the regular season as he regularly would - in style. The sophomore finished with 19 carries for a season-high 236 yards and two scores as Towson topped New Hampshire, 64-35, to snap the Wildcats' 10-game home winning streak. West's showing was the second best of his career and gives him 1,051 yards on 195 carries and 14 rushing touchdowns this year.

Defensive Player of the Week: Ronnie Akins, Senior, DB, Villanova
Akins wins the Wildcats' second-consecutive weekly defensive honor after a clutch fourth-quarter performance in Villanova's 41-10 victory in Saturday's Battle of the Blue with the Blue Hens. The senior secured a pair of key interceptions to add some insurance in the final frame, picking off the first in the end zone on a Delaware red-zone drive and returning the second for a 45-yard touchdown. Akins would also turn in four solo tackles, including one for a loss, and a pass breakup in the win.

Special Teams Player of the Week: Michael Johnson, Sophomore, KR, Delaware
Johnson had a career day in the Delaware's season-finale, tying a school record with eight kickoff returns for a team record 223 yards that included a 94-yard touchdown return. His return for a score was the first of his career and the ninth longest in Blue Hens history. Johnson also finished with four catches for 48 yards, with his 271 all-purpose yards representing the 12th most all-time in Newark.

Rookie of the Week: Nigel Jones, Freshman, RB, Maine
Jones earns his second-straight weekly honor after another big performance in the Black Bears' 55-6 six win over Rhode Island on Saturday. The freshman sensation wrapped up his rookie campaign with 15 carries for 182 yards and two touchdowns on the road against the Rams and a league-leading 7.3 yards per rush for the season.
