CAA Football's The Blitz: Week 12

Bookmark and Share

CAA Football is ready for the final week of the 2012 regular season. The Blitz reviews the week that was and gets you set for the weekend ahead.

In this week's webisode, Bobby Broyles and Scott Meyer look back at several important Week 11 matchups, including Villanova's second victory over a top-10 team in James Madison and Old Dominion's tight win over an upset-minded William and Mary squad.

The two then preview what is one of the most exciting CAA title and playoff races in league history. In the most highly-anticipated contest of the weekend, New Hampshire comes off its open week looking to claim its first conference crown with a win over a Towson team that must win to return to the playoffs for a second-straight year. A pair of must-watch rivalry matchups also featuring postseason implications on the line get underway on Saturday afternoon with Richmond's road trip to William and Mary and Villanova's visit to Delaware. Capping off the final day of regular-season play is a nationally-televised showdown pitting top-five Old Dominion against a James Madison squad that prognosticators say must prevail in order to be a part of the postseason picture.
