Great experience! Small restaurant packing a lot of flavor!
Started with the Chai Tea Latte, in point no complaints! The caramel apple crepe was delicious! Only for the sweet lovers! But I enjoyed every bite! The Turkey sausage was also very tasty. The Harvest salad was also really good. Added chicken but you can definitely go without, the meaty mushrooms make up for it.
It was a bit crowded but didn't slot down the service, Service was great.
Pleasantly pleased 10/10, highly recommend!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 27, 2024
We're driving from NYC to Huntsville AL and we're looking for a breakfast spot...this was only a few minutes off our route.
I would've liked to order one of everything on the menu but instead we just ordered the blueberry pancakes and bananas foster French toast. Both were fantastic!!
The pancakes were PERFECT!! They were crispy yet fluffy and light. The blueberries were HUGE and incredibly fresh! The French toast was covered in bananas and walnut halves (not chopped pieces). Both had a scoop of very fresh whipped cream.
I'm only sad we can't easily come back!! We were about 90 minutes outside of midtown Manhattan ((with NO traffic because we left the city at 5:45 on a Saturday morning)). I can't imagine we'll ever have a car in NYC again but I might have to plan a way to come back to this wonderful little spot!!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - 06421Apr 20, 2024
I can say this was a cute town and cute restaurant. We were happy with everything we ordered, including the honey, mint tea. Good service, good food, nice place!

We have been to the Cubby Hole multiple times over the years and always have a great experience! The staff are so friendly and it was only a 15 minute wait! Today we had the chocolate chip pancakes and chicken pesto panini, both were delicious! On our way out the cashier gave us free muffins since they were closing shortly! We will be back again soon!

A great spot for a comfort food breakfast! Their pancakes are so delicious (I love to get bananas and chocolate chips). A cute space and I'll always come back!

Fantastic food and service. Local gem in the community. Who doesn't love crepes, pancakes or potatoes and eggs.

I love coming here and the food is great! Today I got my order to go instead of dining in. My food was already packed up and ready to go when I arrived. I also ordered a caramel latte with almond milk. They always wait until you get there to make the drinks to go. Honestly, I love that they do this so the drink remains hot or cold when you get it. There's seating inside and outside on their patio. Both places to eat are very nice and usually there isn't a long wait. Inside has a cute setup and I can't wait to go back. I'd definitely recommend going if you haven't

They have a cute patio outside to sit and eat. Inside is a little small but it's nice in there as well. I decided to try something new today and had one of their fall crepes. I ordered the caramel apples crepes with a side of bacon. They were delicious. It had little pieces of apple and granola on top with a side of whipped cream. Definitely will be coming back here!

CHEERS ... lift a toast to great eating and fantastic service... and a great venue to enjoy breakfast or lunch and friends!
uhhh about that toast ... where in the world was the breakfast toast to accompany those oh so perfect omelettes and egg dishes. You know the routine: "white, wheat, rye, sourdough, or pumpernickel?" Well if you never heard that question raised before while eating breakfast don't worry because there is NO TOAST offered alongside Cubby's egg dishes And, frankly the toast was missed by the egg consumers.
However you probably noted the FIVE STARS because this street side breakfast and lunch venue offered us near perfection from the SUPERB service to all four meals being picture perfect and yummy and even with a few sprinkles from above the outdoor seating area offered us a perfect setting for brunch (Ok, it was really breakfast but does the clock striking noon transform the word breakfast through the removal of some letters and addition of others into "brunch?" I really never have been focused on the delineation of the two.).
Coffee was hot and flavorful (I am a coffee snob oops connesiur.) And, several tea options were offered to our tea drinkers (One week past Coronation Saturday perhaps we all still should be drinking tea.).
My "special" lemon and ricotta pancakes were truly special with a perfect blend of tart, cheesiness and sweet The two fill them yourself omelettes were fluffy, eggy, and the inserted choices fresh and good. The salsa was "spicy" as noted by our waitress to the happiness of both omelette diners. The last choice was Cubby's uhh .... we can't remember the name of the egg special but it was superb with bacon on the side (I took those pieces) and salsa pushed to the omelette diners (too spicy for this one.).
A truly wonderful "brunch" on a drizzly Saturday... let's raise a toast ... oops no toast but I am sure we will return.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 2
