MOSS POINT, Mississippi -- The Moss Point Police Department has arrested one suspect and is seeking a second suspect in connection to a Dec. 3 home invasion and armed robbery, Chief Keith Davis said.
About 11 that night, Davis said Moss Point Police dispatchers received an emergency call from a residence on Slag Road, where they could hear a female saying, "don't hurt me; don't kill me."
The E-911 dispatchers sent patrol officers to the home, and, upon their arrival, the female victim ran out of the front door screaming for help.
Two black male suspects ran out of the back door into the woods, and officers pursued both on foot.
The officers found 19-year-old Edward Antonio Jones, of Kinross Street, under a vehicle and arrested him. Jones is charged with one count of burglary and one count of armed robbery.
Authorities have also determined that Quentez Carson is the second suspect involved in the crime, Davis said.
Anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of the Carson is encouraged to call the Moss Point Police at 228-475-1711.
