Biggie's Pizza - Jacksonville Beach

My favorite New York style place. It has upgraded itself with more comfy seats vs just wooden benches which I enjoy.
Service was quick and they bring food out and sometimes clean it up too if we are still sitting and talking.
Pizza is so perfect thin and crispy and basic cheese also hits the spot.
A big pie is expensive but by the slice gives you chance to try more. Gotta go anytime in jax

Stopped in for a later lunch with my family. The ambiance was mellow. The food was delicious! The service was great as well.

We went to Biggies after the Donna Marathon & it hit the spot! We each ordered two pizza slices and they were PLENTY! Very reasonably prices and the slices are BIG!

The staff was friendly and gave recommendations- for an easy dinner I would definitely be back.

Nice big pie. On the expensive side but the $29 was for an 18" pie which was huge and fed each of us two large NY style slices. I noticed the puzzle was a little soggy (thus the 4) but my son said it was all the ingredients. I've had meat lovers that held firm and did not feel squishy and soupy. I will try another pie next time and see if it was only the ingredients of the Meat Me in NY. The flavor was igreat and the crust was perfect. The service was quick and it was pick up and take out so the ambiance was my hotel room (hahaha).

SIX YEARS LATER...all the wonderful things we were used to at Biggie's at their original spot are no more. I placed my order online and showed up an hour later to pick it up. I knew it was going to be a terrible experience as soon as I walked in and saw a dozen irritated customers waiting patiently with arms crossed. The dining area was a mess with no signs of a wait staff. There was no air conditioning and it was blistering hot.

I felt bad for the three teenage employees who were doing their best by repeatedly apologizing but unable to serve customers. It was obvious that no one was in charge to give them help and direction. The phone kept ringing and the printer kept spewing online orders with no one able to answer them.

After an hour our order wasn't ready! A half hour later we finally were told that our order was messed up and they offered us different mix of menu items that were ready.

When we got home, the pizza was terrible. It was over cooked, the dough and toppings were not fresh. It wasn't the same pizza from six years ago. We threw most of it into trash. So sad to see a small business succeed at first, but then fail. I don't know why they've ended up like this but we won't be going back.

the quality and service has significantly gone down hill since their relocation. Pizza is dry old and not tasty

The place has a nice set up and ample seating. If you want to see the full menu you will have to scan a qr code so be ready for that. Over all the pizza and calzone were delicious! I definitely want to come back and try all the different varieties. We also got the garlic bread which was really good. I do wish the cheese had been browned a little bit but that's just personal preference.

These are BIG pizzas y'all! Great for place for lunch because you can get in & out quickly. Friendly staff.

Craving pizza and Biggies was convenient. They offer choices by the slice; standard cheese is $5, pepperoni $6, and their other options, I choose Buffalo and Bianca, which are $7 per slice. I will say I really enjoyed the pizza. The crust is thin and very crispy. On the Buffalo, it could have had a little more chicken. The Bianca is a traditional white pizza with generous portions of mozzarella. I gave 3* for little details, I noticed, the soda fountain is in need of attention, and the interior needs some cleaning. All in all, I still would be back and I would recommend Biggies if you're craving pizza.

I can't recommend this place enough, I'm weirdly obsessed with the eclecticness of every location. I love the pizza, it just hits right every single time but mostly late night after I've hit a wall of sleepiness and I know I'll wake up with my stomach growling. You'll probably get towed when you park but somehow it is all worth it in the end to devour that scrumptious slice of pizza! Don't bother getting dressed up or wearing your Sunday best, hell, don't even worry about brushing your hair. No body cares but at the same time they all kind of do because let's face it, this may be some of the best people watching you've done all year. Oh yeah, stranger things season 5 is coming and it will hit a Biggies Pizza near you! This is just icing on the cake as I'm just here for the pizza of course ;)
