She's been a bobblehead, T-shirt, stuffed animal, sticker, a beer. Soon, she'll be art.

Water play time was a big factor in helping Fiona become stronger and more independent.

Fiona holds a big place in Cincinnati's heart.

Soon, this beloved hippo will hold a big place on a Cincinnati wall.

ArtWorks and Fiona's home, the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, will produce a mural this summer to honor the premature Nile hippopotamus that beat the odds.

It's planned for Rover the Rhine Veterinary Hospital at 910 Race St. Organizers expect it to be complete July 25.

And what exactly will it look like that?

That could be up to you.

ArtWorks is seeking design proposals. Anyone can submit up to three designs by May 7.

Next, the public will vote on their favorite of fine designs. The winner design will be announced May 25.

But the public participation in this public art doesn't end there.

You can buy tickets to help paint Fiona, too.

This is all part of a new ArtWorks program they are dubbing Paint by Numbers.

This will be just the latest in a variety of tributes to social media star, who was born six weeks early in January 2017.

Since then, the remarkably cute animal and first of its kind to be hand-raised has inspired ice cream flavors and tattoos, children's books and key chains.

ArtWorks often honors celebrities, animals and celebrity animals in its public art mural program.

In part summers, the nonprofit's youth apprentices and artist leaders have painted Cincinnati legends like Rosemary Clooney and James Brown, the Lazarus lizards and flying pigs.

And on Eighth Street, the group depicts an animal that was as rare as Fiona.

There, you'll find a mural of Martha, the last passenger pigeon.

She died at the Cincinnati Zoo in 1914.
