Tetra Tech International Development Services is recruiting for a Program Assistant for a USAID-funded project that is implementing gender equitable HR policies and practices across the energy and utilities sectors.
The Program Assistant will play a critical role in the day-to-day activities of the project.
Responsibilities include:
Day-to-Day Operations:
*Conduct day-to-day task to organize and coordinate logistics of all program elements
*Will serve as backstop to the academic partner’s implementation staff for any technical issues with the utility partners.
Logistics & Coordination:
*Provide logistical support with the utility partners and academic partners, as well as engage with the COP and Project Manager on managements issues.
*Support the HR experts in coordination and planning of site visits and facilitation of remote support using web-based technology tools.
Research & Communications:
*Conduct research and outreach to a range of utilities to determine which ones to be included on the potential new partner list.
*Assist Sub-Task Leads with trip reports and coordinate with Communications Manager, if necessary, to develop communications materials such as blog posts, regarding the site visits.
*Support the Communications expert in coordinating and organizing communications-related tasks, such as creating an organizational system for photos, videos, copy editing communications deliverables, arranging logistics for site visits, interviews and other communications activities, and arranging webinar logistics.
Qualifications:
The Program Coordinator must have:
*At least 3 years of experience in international development, energy, gender, or related field
*Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, international development, or similar field.
*International event planning experience preferred, including experience coordinating complex travel
*Experience with contributing to communications-related tasks, such as: creating/editing blog posts, copy editing reports, data management, etc.
