The masters of outdoor rooftop movie viewing are back this festive season and partnering with Time Out for 19 nights of holiday movies on the roof of the Montalbán in Hollywood from Friday, December 1 to Saturday, December 23. And if you’re worried about the cold up there in the run-up to Christmas, don’t be: these are going to be the most cosy outdoor movie screenings you’ve ever experienced, with warm blankets available on site and hot drinks ready to heat you up (including mulled wine, of course).

Rooftop Cinema Club and Time Out’s “The Ultimate Holiday Movie Series” will bring everyone’s favorite Christmas movies to the Montalbán. There will be movies to suit everyone, from much-loved comedies like Home Alone, Trading Places and Elf to Christmas classics like It’s a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street and White Christmas and unique movie landmarks like The Nightmare Before Christmas, When Harry Met Sally and Carol. And of course the festive season wouldn’t be the festive season without National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, so we’re showing those too.

As ever, Rooftop Cinema Club will provide everyone with a comfy deckchair to curl up in to enjoy the movie, and don’t worry about not being able to hear the film: Everyone gets a set of wireless headphones, so you’ll never miss a word. There’ll also be plenty of food from Baohaus and drinks to purchase to help make your evening as special as possible.

As if all of this wasn’t enough, Rooftop and Time Out will make sure that the movies themselves and the amazing view from the roof aren’t the only memories you’re going to take home with you: We’re also going to decorate the roof of the Montalbán so that it looks like a winter wonderland you’ll never forget.
