Healthcare workers are getting a big "thank-you" across the country this month, with thousands of Canadians cheering from rooftops and leaving thoughtful notes for healthcare heroes.

But the country's latest show of support has to be the most Canadian thing ever.

Every evening at 7 p.m., Canadians across the country are taking to their driveways to tap their hockey sticks.

Led by the Montreal Canadiens, the universal rallying cry is meant as a show of support for Canada's healthcare workers, who are emerging as the real-life heroes we need amidst this pandemic.

And it's not just adults that are getting in on the hockey stick fun — this three-year-old Montreal Canadiens fan is doing her part to show support for healthcare workers, too.
