Get ready for a Celtic soul celebration as Too-Rye-Ay returns to The Bell House to perform the music of Dexys Midnight Runners. Best known in America for "Come on Eileen" -- #18 in VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of the 1980s -- Dexys was revered in the U.K. for their punk-infused-soul music, distinctive fashion sense, and leader Kevin Rowland's unique lyrical perspective.

Too-Rye-Ay will perform two sets, featuring smash hits and deep cuts from Dexys' late '70s/early '80s albums and singles. The band features members of Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, Gramercy Arms, Elk City, and Nova Social:

Adrienne C.N. Berry - tenor saxophone

Anthony Cekay - alto saxophone

Claudia Chopek - violin

Therese Cox - accordion

Dave Derby - bass

Richard Alwyn Fisher - guitar

Tom Gavin - banjo/guitar

Ray Ketchem - drums

Sam Kulik - trombone

Ted Leo - lead vocals

David Nagler - keyboards

Nestled squarely between Park Slope and Carroll Gardens. The Bell House is a state of the art 8,000 square foot facility with separate performance space and lounge. Crafted out of a 1920’s printing factory and featuring an 88 foot long, 25 foot high magnificent wooden barrel vault ceiling, The Bell House has become a major hub for arts and performance in Brownstone Brooklyn.
