CAA Football is ready for week eight of the 2012 season. The Blitz reviews the week that was and gets you set for this weekend's action.

In this week's webisode, Bobby Broyles and Scott Meyer reflect back on several key week seven matchups, including resurgent Villanova's road upset of Old Dominion, and how those results play a role this week's games and beyond given that we have now officially made our way into the second half of the 2012 season.

It's then on to a preview of another exciting week of league play. Broyles and Meyer first offer their takes on the 100th annual Battle of the Musket between host Maine and No. 12/14 New Hampshire, as the Wildcats continue their quest for a CAA Championship and the four-loss Black Bears look to establish some consistency after a big win over Delaware and last week's tough road loss to Towson. Another rivalry game also set to air on four Comcast SportsNet Regional affiliates is second-ranked James Madison's visit to Richmond, where the Dukes will look to stay atop the league standings against an upset-minded Spider squad that will be led by first-time starting quarterback Michael Strauss. Saturday's nightcap features an intriguing rematch of a 2011 thriller between nationally-ranked Old Dominion and Towson in which the Monarchs will look for redemption after last season's heartbreaking loss to a Tiger squad whose proven defense and ball control prowess will be pitted against one of the nation's most prolific offenses in ODU.
