SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS TO LIFE

UNITED NATIONS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

The London Blockchain Foundation (LBCF), in partnership with Forte Markets & Curatix, will be running the Smart Contract Hackaton at the Global Legal Technology Summit & Expo 2020.

Expect a world class experience, with projects facilitated by industry experts, and develop Smart Contracting solutions that will aid & support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Participants in this hackathon will receive industry support from esteemed mentors and faculty, and develop a functional & well-polished solution that will serve to solve/achieve one of the UN SDGs of their choosing.

Expect real-world applications & genuine feedback that have a real chance of becoming implemented in a global firm/organization!

COLLABORATIVE PROJECT BETWEEN PRIVATE & PUBLIC SECTORS

The Hackathon is a collaboration between private sector firms, technology and service providers, consultancies, law firms and universities, with the aim of identifying:

  • Software engineers of the future (who can code a working and secure smart contract)

  • Process designers (who can effectively identify and map business requirements)

  • Lawyers of the future (who have a growth mindset and can manage risks associated with smart contract technology).

This Hackathon is likely to be of interest to you if you produce market-leading work on smart contracts and share our values in relation to innovation and the potential of the DLT ecosystem.
