Happy Volunteer Week to All Patient Partners!

It’s National Volunteer Week from April 15 – 21, and we’d like to take this time to recognize all of you who volunteer in our health care system! We’ve accomplished so much this year, but we couldn’t have done it without the hard work of our patient partners. Thank you for all that you do to improve health care in BC!

Here are just a few of the amazing accomplishments our patient partners were a part of in 2017:

2017 by the numbers!

In honour of this week, we’ll be putting the spotlight on our patient partners. We’ll be posting stories about how and why they got involved with PVN, recapping their most memorable engagement opportunities and sharing their hopes for the future. Check out our blog to make sure you don't miss a story!

“What Matters to You?” Has Launched!

On April 11, the BC Patient Safety & Quality Council hosted a virtual kick off for “What Matters to You?” This kickoff featured incredible speakers, an overview of how the initiative began, and explained how you can spread the word and get involved. In case you weren’t able to attend, we’ve put together a recap of the event right here!

It was a great start to this amazing initiative. Interested in helping us spread the word? Check out the "What Matters to You?" website to order some resources!
