Ventura lawyer wins award for work with physicians

Benjamin Coats of Engle Carobini & Coats LLP in Ventura has been named to the annual list of Southern California Super Lawyers for his work in the field of defending physicians and health care entities.

The list features the top attorneys in law practices from across the country and recognizes them for their skills in litigation and transactional work. Each year, fewer than 5 percent of the lawyers in California are named Super Lawyers based on peer recognition and professional achievement.

Coats has practiced law for nearly 30 years and has represented Ventura physicians in medical litigation since 1998.
