Pemberton Twp. woman dies in crash

PEMBERTON TWP. - A 23-year-old woman died when her car missed a curve, hit a tree and overturned early Saturday, police say.

Samantha Wenzel, who lived in the township's New Lisbon section, was driving west on Junction Road when the accident occurred near Mount Misery Road around 1 a.m., said Pemberton Township police. A preliminary investigation indicated Wenzel was not wearing a seat belt.

She was pronounced dead at an area hospital a short time later.

Pemberton Township police say 23-year-old Samantha Wenzel died in a one-car crash Saturday.
