This is an annual event where the State Champions of the Primary School Australian Football boys and girls teams have the privilege of not only getting a tour of the iconic Holden Centre, but to also play a game of Australian Football against Collingwood Football players. 2017 was another monumental year for School Sport Victoria. We always enjoy celebrating our various wins throughout the year. The Annual Review captures the vast and complex work of SSV into one historic document. Hard Work Pays OffTeam Vic students proudly represented Victoria at the 10th Pacific School Games held in Adelaide during December 2017. The total medal count for the Team Vic teams was 350, which was simply outstanding. You can read the full report and see all the photos via the SSV website. 2018 Team Vic State Team Trial Registrations Are OpenThe registration process for the Team Vic State Team Trials opened on Friday, 1 December, 2017 and will close on Thursday, 1 March, 2018. This includes the following teams and age groups: Australian Football 15 years and under, Hockey 12 years and under, Netball 15 years and under, Softball 17 years and under, Tennis 18 years and under. You can also register for the following teams however you are required to check with your school before registering, as you will require school principal endorsement to go to the trials: Australian Football 12 years and under, Basketball Boys 12 years and under, Basketball Girls 12 years and under, Football (Soccer) Boys 12 years and under, Football (Soccer) Girls 12 years and under, Netball 12 years and under. Cricket ChampionshipsTeam Vic 12 years and under Cricket teams took part in a very hot and challenging School Sport Australia Championship in Barooga, NSW and surrounding towns in early January 2018.
