Rustling Pines is an affluent neighborhood located near the Houston Energy Corridor. It is bordered by Memorial Drive to the north, Gaywood Drive to the east, Hermitage Lane to the south, and roughly by Rummel Creek and Fawnlake Drive to the west. It is basically situated between the neighborhood of Gaywood and the Edith L. Moore Nature Sanctuary.

Elementary age children attend Rummel Creek Elementary School before moving on to Memorial Middle School.
