TEQ, in partnership with the Department of State Development, Tourism and Innovation and Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC), is delighted to announce an exceptional line-up of speakers at this Friday’s Industry Update, where tourism and events businesses from all across the state are invited to join:
- Tourism Minister Kate Jones to hear about the Queensland Government's plans to support the industry;
- Queensland's Chief Health Officer Dr Jeannette Young to hear about public health restrictions and their impact on tourism and events businesses;
- TEQ's Chief Executive Officer Leanne Coddington (and team) to discuss TEQ's marketing plans and the role events will play;
- Queensland Tourism Industry Council's Chief Executive Officer Daniel Gschwind to learn about preparing COVID SAFE Plans to get back to business;
- TEQ would also like to thank Leonie Mellor, well-known to Queensland’s tourism industry as Master of Ceremonies of recent DestinationQ events, for donating her time to ensure attendees gain maximum benefit from the session.
There will also be the opportunity to ask questions through the online forum.
In light of securing these valuable speakers to address the industry, the live session has been extended by 30 minutes, and will now run from 2:00pm – 3:15pm.
