Whew! It’s the first day of Summer and it is hot here in CO. Yesterday it was 91 degrees at 9am. Today, we are getting a wee break and at this moment it’s a comfy 68 degrees. In addition to the heat, we have several major wildfires burning and I ask that if you could take a moment and pray in your own way for the firefighters who have been working so hard at getting containment and those who have lost their homes. The rest of us may be dealing with smoke in the air, ash falling on our freshly washed cars, and the loss of the view of our beloved Rocky Mountains, but that all pales in comparison with what those who have lost their homes and possessions are going through.
Today’s Wedding Wednesday is inspired by one of my favorite summertime treats: mint chip ice cream. I’m totally craving a bit today and thought that it would be a great summer wedding palette. Below you will find a mint and chocolate brown inspiration board and I wanted to include the recipe for the signature drink: Ginger Mint Lemonade. I hope you enjoy and stay cool!
