Anyone looking to find out more about their family history can get help from Wiltshire Family History Society during its annual open day at Trowbridge Civic Centre on Saturday between 10am and 3.30pm.
Other family and local history groups, as well as sellers of specialist books, software and equipment, will be joining the event.
The society has about 2,000 members, including many overseas, and mainly helps to research county ancestors.
The Trowbridge branch meets on the second Wednesday of each month, while the Westbury branch meets on the fourth Thursday.
