Duchess Kate is ‘devastated & deeply affected’ by the ‘rift between Harry & William’

British Royals attend Trooping The Colour - The Queen's official birthday parade

While I believe the Duchess of Cambridge is a dull, dysfunctional person, I also believe that Kate is not the mastermind of anything. I think she absolutely Mean-Girl’d the Duchess of Sussex as soon as they met, just as I’m sure Kate participated in the smear campaign and is still insisting on doubling-down on many of those smears. But I’m just saying, don’t focus so much on “Kate versus Meghan” when the issue is so much bigger. It’s about William, Charles and the Queen, not to mention all of the fussy a–holes employed by William, Charles and the Queen. Now, all that being said, I do enjoy it when the stories are about “poor future queen Kate is so distraught about Meghan.” Duchess is NOT distraught.

Kate Middleton has been left reeling by the new bombshell biography about the Sussexes while conversations between Prince Harry and Prince William are now ‘stilted and difficulted’, according to royal experts. Finding Freedom, which is released next week, authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, lays bare a rift between Prince Harry, 35, and Meghan Markle, 38, and the rest of the Firm.

Royal author Andrew Morton has revealed how Kate has been left ‘devastated’ by the feud enveloping the royal family, telling New Idea: ‘There’s no doubt the rift between Harry and William has deeply affected Kate. It upsets her.’

Meanwhile Phil Dampier said the bombshell book would do ‘little to heal the relationships’ between the Duke and Prince William, 38, explaining: ‘I’m told that the pair are speaking at the moment, but the conversations are stilted and difficult.’

[From The Daily Mail]

My royal sources, Sir Panther Kitty and Lord Dexter, told me that William and Harry are not speaking and that Harry knows all about the rose bushes. Honestly though, nothing in Finding Freedom is a shock to Kate or William. They knew what they had done and if anything, they’re probably relieved that the stories are not as bad as they thought they would be, because apparently a bunch of stuff was cut from the book for legal reasons. Will and Kate knew what to expect, which is why they tried to get ahead of the book release with that utter cockup with Tatler. Top CEO Kate is “exhausted and trapped” because of the Sussexes’ exit and the poor sausage doesn’t even get to go on 20 vacations a year anymore. That blew up in her face! And if she plays this “Kate is gutted about Finding Freedom” card too much, that will blow up in her face as well.

I doubt Kate is “devastated” with the rift between Harry and William. She completely snubbed Harry and Meghan at the Commonwealth service.

    • AnnaKist says:

I just remember that for a few years before Meghan came along, Kate and Harry spent A LOT of time together, and seemed to be very close. I’m not suggesting anything inappropriate took place, but William seemed to always be off doing whatever it was William used to do (air ambulance service, maybe?), so perhaps Harry and Kate just hung out together a lot and likely had mutual friends. When he began his relationship with Meghan, that all came to an end, and it could be Kate didn’t like not being the most important female friend and confidante in Harry’s life. Surely others remember those times?

      • notasugarhere says:

That was all fan fiction, not reality. W&K were living at Anmer, Harry was in baracks or in his one-bedroom at KP. They saw each other at engagements, that’s it. One of the times Kate was expecting, reporters asked Harry about it. He looked surprised and said he hadn’t seen her for awhile but heard she was doing fine.

      • GuestWho says:

I think you might be readiing too much into their relationship. There are articles going back as far as 2013 which point out that Harry found her really intrusive in his personal life (she tried to pick a wife for him from a list of “suitable” women), and everyone found her flirting with him super uncomfortable. I think he was polite and kind to her in public (because he is, in fact, polite and kind), respected her because he was his brother’s choice as a bride; and he was a natural foil to billy’s coldness and disdain in public. I think being a confidante in Harry’s life is a far stretch.

I think any despair she may feel is because she knows what she did and she knows that H has pegged her for the mean girl she is. She killed that relationship by not only not showing Harry’s bride 1/10 of the kindness he showed Kate, and by actively working against them.

      • Mimi says:

No, most of us don’t remember those times. Kate has never been a part of Harry’s inner circle, so the idea that anyone has that she was ever his “most important female friend and confidante” is laughable at best. He barely spent time with his brother outside of work, much less his brother’s wife. This romanticized Netflix version of Harry’s courtesy and friendliness towards his sister-in-law on public engagements as anything more than what it was needs to stop.

      • CindyP says:

Kate is definitely one of those women who get along better with men
        Other women are rivals

      • Ginger says:

And let’s not forget that Harry and his friends called her limpet when she was dating Will. I never bought that they were close. He was nice to her when he saw her because he understands how hard it is to be a member of the RF. Its a shame Will and Kate couldn’t do that for Meghan. They have zero respect for Harry.

      • February-Pisces says:

A few years ago (pre-Meghan) harry did an interview for American breakfast TV and they asked him about being ‘fun uncle harry’ and the kids, and he tried to answer as best as he could, but you could tell even then that something was off. I think his relationship with the Keenbridges was fractured back then and he basically never ever saw the kids. But he played along, but the thing about harry is he has the worst game face out of the lot of them and wears his heart on his sleeve. You could tell something wasn’t right.

Also the earlier lipstick alley threads had some interesting pre-Meghan tea, and the drama was going on way before Meghan appeared.

      • Nan says:

Also, this has to be why Harry took such strong offense at Meghan’s treatment. They keep saying nobody mistreated her and they did “everything” they could but when Harry was pre-Meghan, he probably never saw any exclusions or aggressions toward himself. When Meghan came along, suddenly there was never-ending trouble for both of them – resistance, passive-aggression, micro-aggressions, cold shoulders, backstabbing etc. Harry, having experienced what they’re like when they’re not being racist, exclusionary, unkind and snobby, saw it immediately – not at the end but right away. How could they expect him to be okay with any of it? Small wonder he’s “incandescent with rage” – they draw the line at his wife when they should be treating her with the same care and respect they treat him.

      • yinyang says:

I think people just ship them together. I doubt someone with such an incredible beloved mom like Diana, would see anything in a desperate lazy grasping woman plain as oatmeal woman as Kate.

  2. L84Tea says:

Completely besides the point, but man, Meghan looked so stunning and fresh at that Heads Together panel. It’s no wonder Harry can’t keep his eyes off her.

    As for Kate, sure Jan.

  3. aquarius64 says:

Kate was gutted in Finding Freedom, aka Tatler 2.0. The legal reasons were either Will’s wandering scepter or the Royal Foundation alleged financial shenanigans.

    • L84Tea says:

I’m really curious to see if any shred of the Rose debacle is going to be mentioned in the book, or if that is going to be completely glossed over.

      • Edna says:

I think if pushed far enough, Harry would push the nuclear button and all the Rose gardening would be spilled.

      • Nic919 says:

I doubt it because if the UK media blackout on William’s affair. It would be too much of a risk.

      • (TheOG) jan90067 says:

I don’t think the Rose Bush incident is all that. We all know about Willie’s Wandering Scepter. But what I DO think the “legal” issues are about is the misuse of Foundation funds, drained off to help the Mids, like the refurbishment of their home, funneling the money to places OTHER than the charities they were intended to go for. THAT is what they don’t want to get out.

The £1.8M that was just distributed was from the GOVERNMENT *THROUGH* the Foundation. This tells us that after giving the Sussexes their “portion”, the cupboards were bare, and it would be a MAJOR SCANDAL to have the FFK and his Keen Consort to be shown as embezzlers.

      • Becks1 says:

I think the Rose bush scandal would be a big one, because there are a LOT of people who buy into the Cambridge image of the perfect happy family, but I also think that many people would sort of shrug and be like, “oh you mean he cheats like his father did? big surprise.”

But, I think when the reporters like Keir Simmons and Tom Bradby mention the “thing they cant talk about for legal reasons” it is not the affair. I agree with OG Jan that its something financial.

      • notasugarhere says:

He’s always had the wandering willy. The cheating is less of the scandal. William’s threats against the press, the legal wrangling, and the ‘right to a private life’ protestations are more interesting.

I doubt even William is stupid enough to use Foundation funding for Ma Midds. I can see the issue being financial, but not payouts to Carole.

  4. Elizabeth Regina says:

Poor lamb. So devastated by the chasm, she fell head first into it. KKKarol Katrashian still pushing this tired narrative about Catherine the Great Divider. All the kings mouthpieces and press cannot put this humpty dumpty back together again. This ship has sailed.

  5. Belli says:

Once again, it’s all about Kate’s emotions. It’s another facet of “Meghan made Kate cry”.

The Cambridges aren’t very good at thinking ahead, are they. They really thought Meghan and Harry would stick around to be the scapegoats.

  6. S808 says:

Maybe she’s devastated that there’s no real buffer between her and the press or William anymore. With H&M gone she’s next in line to be sacrificed by the press and thrown to the wolves to protect William. The Wessexes are irrelevant and the Queen seems to be protecting Andrew/the Yorks.

    • BayTampaBay says:

The Wessexes are not only irrelevant but they do not sell newspapers.

IMHO, the British Press will NOT touch Prince Andrew with a 10-foot pole as they fear getting legal request (read court ordered demands) to reveal sources to the Chief Prosecutor of the SDNY. I cannot think of any other reason of not covering Andrew as his antics have always sold newspaper.

  7. Edna says:

Why don’t they give it a rest. Top CEO showed her true feelings at the Commonwealth Service and now we’re all supposed to forget what we saw with our own eyes. I don’t know how these Royal Liars keep reinventing and reimagining events to suit their story of the day.

  8. notasugarhere says:

Kate is devastated because the person she’d always planned to hate and attack openly – any woman Harry married – has escaped. She devastated because everyone has seen her for the bully and meangirl she’s been along. She and Stage Mummy Carole are devastated because their coordinated attacks against Meghan repeatedly fail.

And Kate is devastated because her dream husband, the only Windsor who treated her with any respect, has left.

    • S808 says:

“Kate is devastated because the person she’d always planned to hate and attack openly – any woman Harry married – has escaped.”

This. Girlie expected to coast for the rest of her royal existence and have a cover/buffer in Harry’s wife— she did for a couple of years. No one anticipated H&M leaving. Now she’s gotta try to be Meghan 2.0 while having none of the skills, something she absolutely did not sign up for and hope the press doesn’t turn one day (it will).

    • Digital Unicorn says:

Kate is devasted that she will now actually have to work for her dinner – instead of riding on the coattails of Harry and Meghan.

People are now paying attention to the fact that she’s been showing us her ass, literally and figuratively, for years. Plus on some level she knows that the press will turn on her and her family for clickbait and diverting away from William and Andrew.

  9. Becks1 says:

I think Kate is devastated that the book has made some people see her for the mean girl she actually is, and I do think she is devastated that Harry did actually leave, but not for the reasons pushed by Cambridge stans.

    • Chrissy says:

      Bingo!

    • notasugarhere says:

She was known as a bully and meangirl throughout the decade of dating. When the engagement finally happened, along came the great whitewashing of 2010. All kinds of new royal watchers came along, knowing none of the history, and latched onto her as some kind of ideal Barbie princess. Through the years, many of them have dropped off, having seen her for what she really is. Now we’re down to the last of the Mini Midds and the Meghan haters pretending to be Kate stans.

    • Nic919 says:

What’s funny is that only the most delusional stans can deny her ignorant and rude behaviour at the commonwealth service. Prior to that you could try to ascribe some of the standoffishness to William not wanting to associate with them etc, but that bitchface was entirely her own doing. Even William managed to look more polite at the service and he was likely peeved about the procession change as well.

      • notasugarhere says:

Those must be the handful of remaining stans. The others ones, the new ones who aren’t Kate fans but rather Meghan haters? They justify Kate’s behavior with, ‘Meghan deserved it, Kate was publicly cutting her because she knows how evil Meghan is, etc.’

      • Nic919 says:

I am excluding the racist trolls who showed up when Meghan was confirmed as Harry’s girlfriend. They never say anything in good faith.
Some of the earlier royal followers weren’t prepared to believe that Kate was this mean and the ones who still defend her even know are the ones I am referring to.

  10. ABritGuest says:

I’m curious whether the reporters ask their palace sources every week on whether Wills& Hazza have spoken this week or not.

Kate so devastated by rift that she made no attempt to even acknowledge Harry at the Commonwealth Day service. Makes sense

  11. My3cents says:

    Deleted

  12. Steph says:

The Cambridges and their stans are so bad at PR. She’s devastated? That’s why she snubbed both H&M at the church on Commonwealth day? I think Meghan’s super friendly hello wasn’t actually all that friendly. It was just her being smarter than them. I think she knew the cameras where going to be on them and knew what their reception would be and was like F it. Let’s show everyone exactly who the mean Duchess is.

  13. Priscila says:

See? Even when the info the source is talking is about how William and Harry are speaking, but not warmly, they place the focus on Kate and Meghan.

There is an effort to steer the conversation away from the royals and onto the married ins, even after a day of hearing about how William is wise, Harry said mean things to the dresser and should only come back by himself, they return to the old and tried “Kate is upset” narrative- the white tears will keep on coming!

  14. Alexandria says:

    Hahahaha, missing Harry eh?

  15. Whatever says:

With their scapegoat gone, how will William and Kate address the dysfunction in their marriage?

Who will be their new scapegoat so they can continue to deflect and shift the blame?

How will they continue to feel superior if their can not put Harry and Meg down?

I’m sure Kate is freaking out!

  16. Tiffany says:

    *laughs*

    Y’all.

    *LAUGHS HARDER AND LOUDER*

    Y’ALL !!!

  17. notasugarhere says:

Amused Morton has been reduced to giving quotes to New Idea. FYI, New Idea is the trashy Aussie tabloid that keeps insisting Crown Princess Mary is the future Queen (not Queen Consort but future Queen) of Denmark. They repeatedly publish stories about how Queen Margrethe II is handing the country over to her DIL, rather than to her son (the heir).

  18. MsIam says:

Kate: Whaaaat aboooout meeeeee? What about it girl? I’m sure that it didn’t help her feelings to see all of the good attention Meghan got for her birthday, even without “the bells”.

    • Sarah says:

What, the bells that never have been and never would be rung for her? But that we were told were not being run as a massive snub to Meghan? Those bells? Honestly, these jokers and the sad folk who willingly accept all the nonsense they are fed about these people.

  19. Ennie says:

Oh, devastated? Don’t give me that!
She wouldn’t have acted as she did during that CW service if she wanted to help things.

  20. Misokatchi says:

Poor fragile Kate, constantly devastated and coddled by the tabloids who will make no mention of any of her actions, just her reactions.

  21. TheOriginalMia says:

Kate is devastated for purely selfish reasons. She doesn’t have Harry or Meghan as a buffer anymore for the press. No Meghan abuse to embiggen her. No Harry flirtation to make their events more palpable. But devastation because she cares about Harry or Meghan? Nah. She showed her true colors during the budget flight stunt and the Commonwealth service.

  22. Lizzie says:

It is time Kate return Diana’s engagement to Harry. It was left to Harry but he was gracious enough to give it to Will for Kate but since she stands so firmly with her husband against Harry she should do the right thing and return it. It was left to Harry and it should go back to him.

    • S808 says:

That ring represents a horrible marriage, I’m glad Harry doesn’t have it tbh. Let it stay where it is. The blue ring he retained is so much prettier and symbolizes a better time in Diana’s life.

    • JustSaying says:

@ Lizzie: At the risk of arguing semantics, the ring wasn’t “left” to Harry. William and Harry were each allowed to pick out a piece of Diana’s jewelry after her death. William chose her watch, Harry chose her ring. When William became engaged, Harry agreed to trade (though who knows how much strong arming had to go into that).

      • Becks1 says:

There are some rumors that he didn’t agree, that William just took the ring. It gets mentioned here a lot but I have never seen it confirmed.

I don’t think we have ever seen the watch though, which I find interesting. I wonder if Kate does have it and doesn’t wear it* because she doesn’t want to draw attention to the fact that there was never, in fact, a trade.

*I cant see Kate owning something Diana wore and NOT wearing it, but maybe William told her she couldn’t, at least not in public?

      • notasugarhere says:

Harry was publicly surprised by the engagement and the use of his ring for Kate.

  23. February-Pisces says:

If kate wasn’t so plain, bland and basic looking, there is no way she would get away with the shit she’s done. Woman stan her because she is no threat to them whatsoever, they know their men aren’t secretly lusting after her. The royal mafia give her and her manipulative family a pass because again she’s no Diana so she won’t be steeling any thunder. She can literally flash her tits off a balcony and somehow manages to get everyone to feel sorry for her. I know a couple of women who have similar look And they can get away with murder, people always just praise them for being so nice.

    • Sofia says:

Kate is really lucky she’s white. If she was biracial like Meghan and spent 9 years doing nothing, she would have been ripped to shreds.

    • notasugarhere says:

Both she and William benefit simply because of their position. It has nothing to do with them themselves, if that makes sense. William’s years of abuse and bad behavior was covered up as first born and Diana’s golden child. Same went for Kate. Any woman who married William was going to be treated as Best Princess Ever (TM) by a certain group of royal watchers.

    • notasugarhere says:

To add, I agree with what you’ve written too. Kate is a bland cardboard cutout, a doll, something manufactured on the assembly line as Mantel wrote. There’s a certain type of woman who likes Kate, because they perceive her as unthreatening or she’s as mediocre as they are. They can project whatever they want on her, because she’s a blank and bland canvas.

  24. Sofia says:

If she’s so devastated she shouldn’t have acted the way she did on the CW Day. Just saying.

  25. Flying Fish says:

    Whine, Whine, Whine.

  26. MegJ says:

Whatever happened with that article about the pot farm next to the Middleton compound? Did we ever find out if the police arrested someone? Or did Willy fix that up for them too?

    • Q says:

I’ve been thinking about that too! What happened?

    • Nic919 says:

The DM shut that story down just as quickly as the one about James and the Nazi marshmallows. Carole obviously made another phone call to her editor friend Paul Dacre.

  27. anon says:

Yeah, poor Kate was so upset that she totally ignored and humiliated the Duchess of Sussex in a very public, very petty snub at the Commonwealth service, the optics of which went global *as it happened* on camera. She knew exactly what she was doing and how it would be interpreted.

    This. Bitch.

    • Mary says:

Anyone questioning this need only look at the photos of them, post-processional, leaving the Service where she perks up into a huge friendly smile greeting one and all. Yeah, the diss was all for the cameras.

  28. Mary says:

The conversations were “difficulted.” Da*n, Dampier, what are you? 205 years old??!!

  29. Amy Too says:

The U.K. press does this weird thing where they’re constantly reporting “this thing that Harry and Meghan did/said/someone else said about them is going to make it hard to repair their relationship with Will/Kate/the royal family/the British public/the British press.” As if that matters to Harry and Meghan. As if that’s their number one goal in life and they just accidentally quit the royal family and accidentally moved to LA because they somehow thought those things would help their relationship with the RF and British press. Like they’re just so misguided and stupid and just can’t figure out the right steps to take to fix this relationship.

Rebuilding or bettering their relationship with any of those people/institutions is NOT Harry and Meghan’s priority. They don’t give a F about whether or not they’d be welcomed and forgiven by the British press/royal family. They don’t need to hear your list of demands for “taking them back.” THEY broke up with all of YOU! They moved as far away from all of you as they possibly could. They don’t want to get back together. They are moving on.

There is something so myopic about the way the British press reports on them. Like England is the only country in the entire world, like the British press is the only press in the entire world, like the BRF are the only people in the entire world that Meghan and Harry could possibly have a relationship with, like the opinion of the Daily Mail commenters is the opinion of the entire public world-wide. You are a little island. Your press is not as important as the international press. Your opinions and thoughts make up a teeny, tiny fraction of the opinions and thoughts people have about H and M worldwide. They can completely burn every single bridge to the U.K., never visit again, never talk to any British press again, and still be massively, hugely successful.

  30. kelleybelle says:

If this is supposed to be spin-doctoring and damage control? It’s very, very bad. They’re terrible at it. Where was Kate when all the “Kate can shine now that the difficult duchess is gone”? and similar articles came out? Was she “devastated” and “deeply affected” then? Please.

  31. paddingtonjr says:

Oh please, like Kate is capable of being “deeply affected” by anything. I do think she Mean-Girled Meghan when M was in the UK and Kate defintely snubbed her at the Commonwealth Service. But I think once H&M stepped down, she didn’t give M another thought. I think Kate does miss Harry; she basically seemed to have a one-sided emotional affair with him and misses being able to flirt (uncomfortably) with him.

  32. Ann says:

Slightly OT but isn’t this hat in the header photo the same hat she wore to H&M’s wedding? It looks unmistakably yellow here, and Kate’s dress at the wedding matched that hat perfectly.

    • Original Penguin says:

Different hat, the wedding one was square-ish.

This dress is primrose yellow unlike the other one which soooo wasn’t

    • Travelin says:

That is the same hat. And I do believe it is yellow. Or at least the flower is. The dress she wore for the wedding was the same cream colored coat dress that she wore for one of the infant christenings. She wore cream colored dresses for each of the christenings to match the baby gown. She knew exactly what she was doing by wearing that dress to the wedding and it isn’t a good look. It looks especially bad now in retrospect now that we know more of her behavior to Meghan over the years. At the time, you could maybe give her the benefit of the doubt. Bad move but, well maybe she didn’t have a lot of choices post pregnancy. But seriously even then we should have known for sure that it was a mean move. This women has hundreds of dresses and often many of the same style in different colors. And she wore a hat with a yellow flower to give just enough of a argument for people to stretch and say that she wore a light yellow.

      • Original Penguin says:

Wedding hat was a different shape with a paler ‘saucer’, the flowers were yellower than the ‘saucer’.

She has so many similar outfits, we can’t be surprised she has similar hats?

The wedding outfit wasn’t the same as the cream christening outfit. It was a shade different. But definitely not primrose. It was a deliberate choice intended to create attention from an is it isn’t it POV. If she wanted to wear primrose she could have worn this trooping the colour dress

    • Becks1 says:

It’s a different hat. the flowers in the hat were yellow, but the actual hat was closer to the color of the dress she wore to the wedding (meaning the wedding hat was closer to the off white). she also has a very similar hat that she wore to Zara’s wedding .

      • Travelin says:

I took a look at the hats again and I can’t tell the difference. But I don’t doubt you all! I just am in awe that she really owns so many very similar items! And you know they cost a fortune.

  33. Linda says:

While I don’t doubt that things went horribly wrong at some point, Harry did once say that Meghan now had the family she’d never had. I think most of them gave it a good shot until they realized that Meghan couldn’t be manipulated and controlled and that she was eclipsing all the other Royals with her popularity. Then it hit the fan with the tabloids also jumping on the bandwagon.

    • notasugarhere says:

The forced Christmas stay at Anmer, where I’m sure W&K didn’t want Meghan there and only agreed because of pressure from Charles. I’m sure they’d rather have hosted the Real Royal Family (TM9), Clan Middleton.

I think Harry was trying hard to say something publicly nice about what ended up being a disastrous experience. If he’d told it like it really was, the press would have attacked.

    • ABritGuest says:

Even when everything looked rosy that first Christmas with the Cambridges guiding Meghan on when to curtesy etc, I always took that comment as Meghan might not have experienced huge family gatherings like the Windsors as her family unit was much smaller: I think Harry even said aren’t many large families like his with all their traditions at Christmas etc.

Diana also said they were really friendly when you are a guest but not so much after you‘ve married in.

When the engagement was announced Tom Bradby talked about the Cambridges being cautious about the relationship and the need to be conscious being part of family firm where money, status, popularity can lead to conflict so seems signs were there from the start.

  34. yinyang says:

I wish DM would stop writing about Meghan, the woman left the country for god sakes, yet they still write the same amount about her, give her some privacy! THey are trying to make Kate into a fairytale princess, with evil sisterinlaw Meghan. White people need to get off this, the media writes narrative but they cater to what the people want to hear and this is it, it’s really pathetic, and it makes white people look stupid, particularly white woman that supports this stupidness! This reminds me when different size Barbies were introduced, some white women were nearly having a heart attack that white Barbie was going to be less than perfect, like how shallow can you get, it was really an eye opener for me.

    • notasugarhere says:

They make money off Meghan, they lose money on Kate. That’s why they keep writing about Meghan. People around the world are interested in Meghan, but aren’t interested in Kate.

      • yinyang says:

But they are not interested in Meghan, they’re interested in tearing her apart, its sadistic (if thats the right word) That’s not the kind of publicity anyone wants to recieve, selling papers or not. How white people can support this, I dont know.
Medicore woman need to tear down other woman to lift them up, Diana didn’t need to crap on anyone to sell papers, all woman flocked to her and followed her becuase she was stunning and compelling, I wish people would stop trying to make Kate happen, it’s irritating and pointless.

      • notasugarhere says:

They don’t care how they make money off of Meghan. If the obsessed Meghan haters show up on the Fail website to rail against her? The Fail makes money. That’s why I appreciate when Kaiser brings excerpts of stories here, because I refuse to give any clicks to the Fail.

What NOTA said. I appreciate the royal stories here because I don’t have to click on DM or whatever trashy website there is. Most of the time I go straight to the comments here too. I hope Harry and Meghan reads Celebitchy so they know they have supporters.

Also Catherine Quinn, if you’re reading this site too, I’ll buy your book if you spill the tea about Willnot and Keen.

I was worried we would go a week without an update on the emotional well-being of the true victim in all this. How does the Top CEO manage to cope?

Here is what just angers me so much about this coverage. They still refuse to acknowledge that all of this came about because of the ways they treated Meghan, and how they ran interference in her adjusting to this life, and in trying to undermine Harry’s marriage and attacking his family. They talk about Williams feeling, his relationship with Harry. They talk about Kate’s feeling, WTF? She doesn’t care. She does what she’s told. They still refuse to acknowledge Meghan Markle, the harm they’ve done her, how they’ve used her father against her, or how so many people continue to profit off her and can’t give her one shred of humanity or how hurt she is by this. Even that Vogue guy is a user. Does Kate look like she’s hurting while swanning about grinning at photo ops? Give me a fkn break! Why should anyone care what she thinks in this? If she or William really cared, even about just the bare minimum of optics, they would never have started this destroy mission which resulted in Harry leaving too. They and that whole apparatus is fine, with no real disruption to their lives, safety or reputation. Seriously they can all go to to hell.

  37. Florence says:

Ah well. Work harder, Kate! You have giant shoes to fill and right now you’re not even filling the toes. You lost your weird, media-backed fantasy of being adored by both boys and you lost your scapegoat because YOU helped to drive her away. Mask on and get moving.

man honestly this is all exhausting

Bill and Cathy are not sad or devastated. They got what they wanted so the tabloids need to stop this nonsense.

    • notasugarhere says:

I don’t think W&K got what they wanted. They wanted to keep Harry and Meghan around to be their scapegoats, to do all the royal work for the Fab Four and be thrown under the RR bus at will. Second choice was William’s racist ‘banish them to Africa’ which I suspect actually happened.

They didn’t want Harry and Meghan 2) free from their control and 2) in the US where they’re popular.

Wow someone sure is trying to get a lot of mileage out of white woman’s tears. She’s not the one who was fielding death threats and threats to her pregnancy and having people accuse her or colluding with terrorists when trying to raise money for a charity.

  41. BOYD says:

When this finally dies down she can go back to being not noticed and forgotten about as she was before Meghan came along… The RF has been irrelevant , forgotten since DIana died outside of the UK.. Soon back to irrelevancy..
