Maybe he was exhausted from the trip to Israel, maybe he was just tired of all the fat jokes, but NJ Gov. Chris Christie was caught catching some zzz's at Bruce BROOOCE Springsteen's concert at MSG on Monday: “The governor was very active during the show,” a tipster told the Post. “Bruce started talking about ‘supporting food banks in New York and New Jersey,’ and ‘how people have been hit hard,’ and Christie was riveted. Then Bruce performed ‘Rocky Ground,’ and Christie visibly started fading.”

To his credit, Springsteen does play exceedingly long (and excessively awesome) shows—and as much as we love Michelle Moore's performance on it, "Rocky Ground" is definitely one of the sleepiest tunes from Wrecking Ball. But for a man who has seen Springsteen at least 128 times in concert—a man who begged Springsteen to play his inauguration—this kind of behavior just won't do.

It seems former NY Gov. Eliot Spitzer was at the MSG show as well—he didn't mention the sleeping spell, but he did call out Christie on his show "Viewpoint" for his comments characterizing America as an "entitlement society." He chastised him by quoting lyrics from Springsteen's song "Jack Of All Trades" (which you can watch below). Personally, we would have quoted from Springsteen's classic, "Born To Snooze." Or maybe "Hungry Heart."
