How to Make a Fabric-Covered Bulletin Board for Your Dorm

It's so cute!

A bulletin board is basically a must-have in a dorm room for keeping your life organized. But the regular brown cork ones are so boring looking — which is why we had design whiz Chloe Daley show how to jazz one up using a fun fabric in this Teen Vogue "Dorm-It-Yourself" tutorial.

For this easy DIY project, you’ll need a cork board, fabric of your choice, a glue gun and glue sticks, tape, and scissors. First, lay the fabric down face down on the ground or another large, flat surface. Set the cork board on top of the fabric, and then cut the fabric around the board, leaving a 1.5-inch edge all around. Then, fold the fabric over the edge of the cork board, and use the glue gun to attach the fabric (tightening as you go along). Tape down the edges of the fabric to the back to avoid fraying.
