Here are 10 things from NFL Week 7 that intrigue me:
1. Sam Bradford against the Eagles: The Eagles traded Bradford before the season and decided to play rookie Carson Wentz. For the first three weeks, it looked like the right decision. But a loss here and the Eagles would be .500 at 3-3 and the Vikings would be undefeated and Bradford would be a big reason why.
2. Eagles offensive line vs. Vikings front: The Vikings have won with their defense and their pressure. They got Cam Newton eight times the last time they played on the road. The Eagles had issues last week at Washington and rookie right tackle Halapoulivaati Vaitai struggled. This could be a long day for Wentz.
3. Seahawks defense against Cardinals running back David Johnson: The Seahawks are third in the league in run defense and second in yards per attempt. It's hard to run on that defense. But Johnson is averaging 5.0 per rush and is third in the league in rushing.
4. Brock Osweiler against the Broncos: The Broncos wanted to re-sign Osweiler, but he wanted more money. The Texans gave him $2 million more per season, so he left. Now he faces his former team off a nice comeback victory. The Broncos have had two games where the quarterbacks have struggled. It won't be easy for Osweiler against that defense.
5. Philip Rivers against Matt Ryan: This is a game that matches two of the best passers in the league on a fast track. That could mean a lot of offensive fireworks.
6. The Steelers without Ben Roethlisberger: Landry Jones will start against the Patriots for Roethlisberger, who is out 4-6 weeks with a knee injury. That will put a lot more pressure on the running game and the defense. It's been a defense that hasn't played that well. It needs to start now.
7. DeAndre Hopkins against Broncos corners Aqib Talib and Chris Harris Jr.: Hopkins is one of the best receivers in the game, but Talib and Harris Jr. are outstanding cover players. They can shut down the best of them.
8. The Bills offense without LeSean McCoy: McCoy rushed for 150 and 140 yards the past two games, which made him the focal point of the Bills' push to get to 4-2. But he is likely out with a hamstring injury, which puts Mike Gillislee in as the lead rusher. The Dolphins will be without safety Reshad Jones, who was their best defensive player.
9. Raiders coach Jack Del Rio going back to Jacksonville: Del Rio was fired by the Jaguars four years ago and replaced with current coach Gus Bradley. Del Rio took the Jaguars to the playoffs twice, but they haven't sniffed them since. Now he comes back with a young team that is 4-2 to face his former team.
10. Drew Brees vs. the Chiefs defense: There were a lot of people who thought Brees was slowing down. He's proven them all wrong. He has 14 touchdown passes in five games, and this week he faces a Chiefs team with a hurting secondary. He is on the road, which hasn't been as kind to him in his career.
