SEBM Call for Nominations
 

SEBM Members:

I am writing as chair of the Nominating Committee.  We are charged with nominating members for the various offices for the upcoming year's elections.  We still need to gather names of folks that will help the society through serving on the Council.  

I am asking each of you to please ask someone you know to run for the SEBM councilor (self nominations are always welcome!).  Please send me the names and contact and I will then contact and ask for the needed materials (NIH Bio and a statement of their involvement in the society and why they wish to be a leader of the society.  We are interested in early career folks as well as scientist in industry positions.  The requirement is to be a member in good standing and be willing to volunteer to help lead the society through bringing forth ideas and concepts as well as serving on committees. 
 
At present we need to identify candidates for the positions of President-Elect, one international councilor and for 3 councilors.  I am asking for your suggestions to help fill these important positions.  Self-nomination is welcome.
