Angela Scanlon announces she is pregnant – and she’s really hoping her baby has ginger hair

Robot Wars presenter Angela Scanlon has announced she is pregnant – and she’s desperately hoping her baby ends up having ginger hair.

The X year-old Irish TV presenter, who also fronts The One Show, revealed she is six months pregnant via a funny Twitter post in which she joked about not having the ‘glow’ everyone talks about and comparing herself to a giant gorilla.

She tweeted: ‘SO. I’ve been baking for 6 months now… and I’ve made a bun!?It’s currently in the oven & will be ready by Springtime. ⏰

‘Apart from feeling severe resentment at the lack of promised “glow” we are so, SO delighted…plus, my hair looks great!! ??xx.’

The best bit? Her tweet was posted along side a meme of a rather large-bellied gorilla looking fed up. The meme read: ‘”Get pregnant” they said. “You’ll glow” they said.’

Covering all bases, Angela then posted a further message on her Instagram account, with which she shared a photo of herself rather excitedly using both hands to point at her stomach.

This time, after making the same announcement, she added: ‘We are so, SO thrilled (since I’ve taken my head out of the toilet bowl) and can’t wait to welcome a mad, wonderful little human into our world. ?.’

The redheaded TV star then added: ‘*Really hoping he/she is ginger*??‍♀️.’

Angela has been married to Roy Horgan since 2014.
