Where can I volunteer for nature?

Volunteers play a huge role in helping our natural environment. Check out the Environmental Volunteering portal for an interactive map showing volunteering opportunities across Victoria, connect to environmental volunteering groups and resources and read stories from other volunteers.

How else can I contribute to Biodiversity 2037?

There are many other ways to contribute. Here are some examples:

1. Visit the Victoria Nature Festival hub to connect with nature and see what you can do to protect Victoria’s natural environment.
2. Are you involved in a project to improve biodiversity in your area? Contributing information about your activity is an important way to have your contribution included in Biodiversity 2037 progress reports. Find out more about collecting activity data.
3. Interested in making your garden wildlife friendly, particularly for Victorian plants and animals? Visit Gardens for Wildlife to help you get started.
4. When you are out and about, take a photo of an interesting plant or animal - using VBA Go. This will upload it directly to the Victorian Biodiversity Atlas which is influential in a range of government investment and management decisions.
