How will I know you have received my items safely?

You can track the progress of your package using Royal Mail Track & Trace system. WWe will call you or send you an e-mail with our offer using contact details supplied by you on the Description Form. What is the Faster Payment System (FPS)

If your bank subscribes to FPS, then we can make Bank Transfers to you on the same day and you will generally have cleared funds in your bank account within 2 hours at a small charge of £5. This is fine with us; we separate and test each item and give you a cash valuation for each purity.

What about gemstones in my jewellery?

We do not buy gemstones. Any gemstones within items of scrap jewellery received will not be returned as removal of the stones is time consuming and on most occasions the labour charges incurred by us will far outweigh any small profit margin we may have in the item. We recommend that, if a stone is of sentimental value, you remove it before sending the item to us.

Do you buy silver?

Yes, we buy silver.

What if I change my mind?

No problem! Once we have weighed and valued your items we will make you an offer by email or telephone. If you decide to reject our offer we will return your items to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery conditions apply.

What happens if the value of my items changes after I've sent them in?

Our prices are based on the 'Spot Rate' prices for Gold, Silver Platinum and Palladium which are continually fluctuating in line with World Markets. Our valuation for your item(s) will be based on the 'Spot Rate' price applicable when we receive your items. We will then email or telephone you with an offer for your items and that offer will be valid for 24 hours from the time that the email is sent by us, or from the time that we contact you by telephone. If you decide NOT to accept our offer for your item(s), it/they will be returned to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery conditions apply.

Please note that we reserve the right to charge for postage and packaging when returning items to you.

If my gold or platinum weight does not agree with yours, what happens?

We have approved, specialist scales and if there are discrepancies on weight we notify you immediately.

What if I don't have a printer?

No problem, simply complete and submit the description form and this will allow us to locate the details of your consignment on our systems.

If you then send in your consignment we will accept it so long as you provide a covering letter with the following details:

  • A signed declaration confirming that the items are indeed yours to sell.
  • Contact information including your name, address and telephone number.
  • If known, please include the weight and carat of any items sent.

On receipt of your items we will match your consignment with the form on our system. We will contact you with our offer within 24 hours of receiving your items.
