Luxurious ingredients (like butter and eggs) play a major role in traditional Easter breads. To top it off, this sweet dough comes with sugar and cinnamon, making it utterly irresistible. Assembling this eye-catching wreath only adds a few extra steps to the process of making cinnamon buns, so anyone can do it! But here are our step-by-step photo instructions, just in case you need a hand.

A. Prepare and measure out your ingredients. (Have a digital scale? Reach for it now to get the most accurate baking results — we've got the measurements for you to follow in the recipe.)

B. Combine yeast with warm water in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook. Let stand until frothy. Beat in warm milk, melted butter and yolks until combined. Add flour, granulated sugar and salt.

C. After dough has risen and been rolled out, spread butter mixture over dough to the edges. With the long edge facing you, tightly roll up dough in jelly roll fashion.

D. Place roll seam-side up. Use a sharp knife to cut the log lengthwise in half along the seam.

E. Tightly weave the two pieces together, leaving the cut sides exposed. Gently transfer to a prepared sheet. Brush 2-in. portion with egg wash.

F. Form into a wreath, firmly pinching the egg-washed end underneath the other to seal. Continue with remaining recipe instructions.
